Located just right of the Tropic of Cancer beach, this vacation home is a relaxing spot for families.

This recently-built house accommodates up to 6 persons and is fully equipped with everything you need.

The great room has an open concept that includes a fully-equipped kitchen, a dining space, a living room/family TV room, and half bathroom. The property is 100% off grid: solar powered (no power outage), reverse osmosis filtered water, Starlink high speed internet

The beach-side bedroom (king size bed), the garden-view bedroom (2 full size beds) , and a recently built garden view bedroom (king size bed) are all en-suite.

All the rooms facing the beach open on to a patio that contains a dining and lounge area.

The third bedroom opens to a private deck.

A few steps away, a gazebo overlooks the sandy and crystal clear waters.

The property also has 2 outdoor showers.

The property is located on the east end of the Tropic of Cancer beach, away from the main traffic of the beach, making it very quiet.

Kayaks and paddleboards are available if you want to explore further, and snorkeling gear will give you the opportunity to enjoy the colorful marine wildlife.

The beach is safe and quiet, perfect for swimming or sunbathing.

You like the area but need a larger house? Our Villa Esencia next door can accommodate a 8-person group, and we also have a one-bedroom cottage just a few yards away

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights
Please do not wash bath towels with your own clothes. Before you leave you can either drop them in the bathrooms or in the laundry room.
Leave all food in the fridge. We give leftovers to our housekeeping and maintenance crew. Some of them have dogs and are happy to use beef patties or any other meat already cooked or uncooked.
I usually come over 15 minutes before you leave the house to say goodbye and double check there not personal belongings left behind. Please communicate your departure time the day before you leave.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

We loved the house and the location on the beach. The house was much more spacious than we expected given it is only two bedrooms, and the second bedroom was plenty big enough for our two teens. Tropic of Cancer Beach is beautiful, and our stay was very relaxing.

Fantastic Stay

My wife stayed at the property for 10 days. Tropic of Cancer is one of the nicest beaches you'll ever visit. Valerie and Pierre were great hosts and provided anything we needed. Would not hesitate to go back and stay in this villa.

Paradise at it's Finest

We stayed 5 nights in February 2025. This place is magical. You are right on the ocean. The house is very well stocked and the owner is very accessible if you need anything. We have already booked for next year!!! That sort of says it all.

Best Beach on Earth

The house was perfect for our family of four (parents and 2 teenagers). The location can’t be beat - right on Tropic of Cancer beach. The house had all the amenities we needed, including a well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed grilling out and also having coffee on the pavilion looking out at the most beautiful water! Great home and we would definitely stay again!

Great House and location

This is our second visit to Key Lime and we just love it! The house is pretty and has a nice gazebo where you can view the water and drink your coffee. Then walk down to the beach in one second. Valerie the owner makes sure you have everything you need. Perfect place to stay for a group of four or small family. You will experience the most beautiful blue water you have ever seen!

We stayed at Key Lime Cottage for 3 weeks in June/July and had a wonderful time. Valerie is an exceptional host and the house is well equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen had great appliances and all the dishes, cutlery, glassware, and pots and pans that we needed to prepare our own food. The beds were very comfortable with clean linens and lots of towels. The kayaks and paddle boards were really appreciated. Valerie answered all our questions and was incredibly responsive to anything we required. We were very close to Cancer beach (just a short walk down the beach to the main Cancer Beach) but still far enough away that we had lots of privacy. We recommend this location to anyone looking for a fun, comfortable vacation. You cannot to wrong with this place.

This was one of the best family vacations we have experienced! Once you get to the beautiful Villa on Tropic of Cancer Beach all you need is your food provisions and your bathing suit. Snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking and literally the most beautiful beach in the world. Don’t miss stopping by the food hut located near the main beach entrance where Jackie and Sandy will serve you awesome drinks, burgers and the best hotdog ever! Great host! Great accommodations! Great setting! We hope to come back many times again!

Just about perfect

The location is ideal for getting away from the crazy world. Peace and quiet, less than 60 steps to the Tropic of Cancer beach. We saw maybe 15 people at most at one time. The hosts, Valerie and Pierre, are extremely welcoming. They even invited us over for the Super Bowl! Great little places to eat within 10 minutes, just beware of island time hours (closing times are just an estimate). It would definitely be a place we would visit again.

Perfect Exuma Vacation

Key Lime Cottage was exactly what we expected in a beachfront property. Steps away from a beautiful beach (Tropic of Cancer Beach) with no rocks and nothing but the bluest water you’ve ever seen. Plenty of beach toys to choose from for playing in the water. In the house, there’s plenty of room for a family of four. The beds were very comfortable and the accommodations were perfect. You can easily cook every meal in the kitchen or grill outside and/or go out to eat when you want. Valerie and her husband Pierre are wonderful hosts and we certainly appreciated the hospitality!
