Harbor Springs.... whether you are visiting in the summer for the beautiful weather and crystal clear water in the bay, Fall for the unbelievable colors and tunnel of trees, or Winter for tons of fun snow activities, City Cottage at 383 West 3rd Street is the perfect place for you and your family to enjoy it all.

This 4 bedroom, three full bath will be your haven for vacation! Inside and out it is overflowing with amenities to spoil your family!!

383 West 3rd has an open floor plan, large luxury kitchen boasting a 48" Aga range, quartz countertops and large eat-in island for 5. Dining area that seats 8+ is connected. Large family room with wet bar, mini fridge and ice maker. Gas logs, two large couches that each seat 4, and comfortable arm chairs to cozy up in and watch movies or game on the 55" TV. A game table with chairs pairs with the mini bar and is perfect for poker, monopoly or working on a puzzle. A wall of glass looks out into the very private back patio with multiple seating options, fire pit, Weber gas grill, table and chairs.

Downstairs, is our first guest bedroom with queen bed, new mattress and luxury linens. Also on the first floor is a full bathroom with large walk in shower and double vanity. This bedroom bath combo is fabulous for a family member that might have trouble with stairs and needs to stay on the main level.

On the second floor is the master bedroom with king sized bed and in-suite bathroom hosting a walk-in shower, glass door and rain shower head. Two more bedrooms are upstairs. First is a queen and the second is a custom bunk room with 4 beds. At the end of the hall is a full bath with a shower/ tub combo and double vanity. All of the bedrooms have new mattresses, cool and calming blue and gray color scheme and new carpet.

With a garage full of bikes and beach toys, City Cottage is the perfect retreat for families of all ages.

Incredible property in the heart of Harbor Springs!We had an amazing stay—this home is in a perfect location, right in the center of town. The owners were fantastic to work with and very responsive. The kitchen was well-stocked and functional, and the common areas were spacious and comfortable—great for relaxing or gathering as a group. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and generously sized. Hoping to rent again for the 4th of July!

It’s pretty rare that a rental measures up to its photos and promised amenities, but this particular one absolutely met all expectations and definitely exceeded them. The house was absolutely perfect. It was so clean and updated. The kitchen was spacious and fully stacked. The bathrooms were all very big and very easy to share. The master was big and cozy and also had a large bathroom. Even though it was snowy in winter I could tell this would be a great rental for the summertime as well. We are absolutely coming back and I highly recommend it also a big thank you to the host for allowing us to stay an extra half day.

Wonderful Place to stay in Harbor Springs

Our weekend was perfect. City Cottage was in great location and was a perfect location for celebrating my 65th birthday with my sister and daughters and granddaughter. Only suggestion I would make is to include soap in bathrooms and Shampoo/Conditioner in showers!

Felt comfortable immediately after walking in. The house has everything you need and is maintained nicely. The owners are wonderful to work with and quick to answer questions. I am sure this is the cleanest and most equipped house in the area!

Have stayed in this little in-town charmer twice. Plenty of space and amenities. So nice to get up early and walk downtown for coffee to start the day. Owner was very flexible and responsive from the start of my booking through the departure. Everything you need is here. You won’t be disappointed!

We had a small family gathering in Harbor Springs and this place was perfect and just as described! The house is well equipped and nicely updated! Location is ideal with ability to walk around downtown. We’d love having fires in the backyard! I highly recommend!

Perfect home in a perfect location!

This home is a wonderful place to stay! The owners are so nice and very quick to reply with answers to questions. The layout of the first floor is so comfortable and relaxing for a group of people. We were lucky to have beautiful weather during our stay so we were able to enjoy the lovely patio/backyard. The entire home was very clean and beautifully decorated. We would love to stay there again on our next trip to Harbor Springs.

Charming, well setup home

We stayed at this home with three kids under 10 and 2 sets of in-laws. The location was excellent, walking distance to downtown and the beach. The home was very well put together, very charming with modern, good taste finishes. The home is better than the pictures, which were good to begin with. If ever I’m Harbor Springs, we would look to stay here again.

harbor springs

we love staying in harbor springs when we come up yo ski in the winter. it’s a great spot to have as a home base. we have been making trips up in the winter for the last 5 years. this house is now our favorite. perfect for 2 families to share. the downstairs has a huge kitchen w everything and the family room gave us lots of space to hang out and play cards. we would definitely rent here again.

Beautiful home, fantastic Harbor location

The house was literally like stepping into a TV show renovation masterpiece-gorgeous decoration, comfortable furniture, great layout for families, a chef’s kitchen complete with separate bar area, and awesome front and back porch/yard areas. It was within walking distance to everything you could want in Harbor Springs-the beach, restaurants, shopping, parks, and of course fudge and ice cream. Communication with the owners was prompt and helpful and the house was fully stocked and ready for families (high chair, pack-n-play, toms of toys/games, beach towels, you name it. Will definitely rent again if we come to the area!

High end appointments with great location

Stayed in this beautiful home with our family over Labor Day weekend.The location is great for walking to downtown Harbor Springs and within includes everything that could possibly be needed/wanted. Walked to the farmers market on Saturday morning and fixed a wonderful dinner in the fabulous kitchen on Saturday night. Willow restaurant and Sam’s Graces Cafe and Bakery were excellent finds. We enjoyed day trips to Petoskey and Mackinac Island and just relaxing at the house watching college football and playing cards. The owners were very accommodating and great to work with. Would highly recommend this property.

Second Time Guests!

This was my family’s second time staying at City Cottage and once again, it did not disappoint! The location is perfect and is a 3 minute walk from downtown harbor springs. Perfect home for our family gathering!

This beautiful home in Harbor Springs was the perfect place for our family to gather. My 91 year-old mom-in-law was comfy in the first floor bedroom and bath, and the rest of us had plenty of room on the 2nd floor with 3 more bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen had EVERYTHING we could possibly need, and we cooked all our dinners there. We took the ferry to Mackinac Island one day (this was on my MIL's bucket list), and I personally could have stayed there an extra day. Another day we drove north through the tunnel of trees, and had a late lunch at Leggs Inn. It's an amazing place-- a Polish restaurant with excellent ethnic food and great views, sitting right on the lake...highly recommend! We also had a chilly swim in the bay, and some of us rode bikes on the Little Travers WheelWay over to Petoskey--a beautiful paved path. Every day when we came back to the house, it was wonderful to relax in the comfort of our Harbor Springs home. Thank you, Anna!
