Great location
Had a quick stay for a weekend ski trip. This was a perfect spot for my wife and I. Very clean studio loft that was just a few steps from the best restaurants in Harbor Springs. Would stay again for sure. You can tell they are still in the process of upgrading the unit but the work they’ve done so far is great.

NYE downtown Spring Harbor
We came up for NYE weekend to ski and spend some time in spring harbor. The location/unit was perfect for 2. Right in the middle of the downtown area and could walk less than 5min to anywhere. We enjoyed 2 restaurants while staying. David the property owner was also very kind to reach out right around check in to make sure everything was ok too. Would definitely recommend

I remember counting the mile markers from the backseat as we headed north on Interstate 75 with my Uncles Harry and Bert and cousin Pat. Traveling from the flatlands and cornfields of Ohio over the Michigan state line and into the fir and birch trees that soon began painting the beauty of Northern Michigan. We drove over the Mackinac bridge and on into Canada to fish for trout and northern pike in what became the most remote place I'd ever seen. That first time north, I recall the temperature contrast, even in August as the humidity in the south gave way to the dryer, more comfortable air north of the 45th parallel. I couldn't believe the climate difference a few hundred miles north by car could make and I knew then that I'd be back someday.

I came back during college summers and found a job on Mackinac Island. I worked as a "dock porter". Dockporters are a sort of bellhop and mobile concierge all in one. You meet the guests at the ferry docks and transport their luggage to the various hotels, bed and breakfasts or private homes throughout the island. Dockporting was the most joyful and healthful job I ever had, making great tips while bicycling on a Schwinn all day!

On my days off, I'd take my Schwinn onto the ferry and head for the mainland. There I would either ride into the upper peninsula from St Ignace or head south from Mackinac City. Riding M119, through the "canopy of trees" into Harbor Springs. Outside your window, over Main Street you'll see a coffee and doughnut shop. It was on one of those benches I would stop for a sandwich and drink, never realizing I would one day own a little piece of this wonderful village. I'm so happy now to be able to share it with you! Relax, Enjoy and I hope you forget about time along the way!

If you have the time, I would recommend at least a "day trip" to Mackinac Island. The ferry boats can be caught each half hour at either Mackinac City or St. Ignace docks 40 minutes north of Harbor Springs.

Why they chose this property

LOCATION, COMFORT, and CONVENIENCE. 103 West Main is in the heart of downtown Harbor Springs. You're at the corner of State and Main streets and everything that this great community has to offer is a minute from your doorstep. Leave your car keys on the kitchen countertop as restaurants like the Cupula, Pierson's, Pier, The New York, and Guerney's sandwich shop are a block away. Boutique clothing shops and coffee houses are at the bottom of your steps. The marina, the beach, and the bluff are also a block away.

103 has been contemporarily appointed with comfort and couples in mind. Two plush lounge chairs in the living area give you freedom to relax and forget about time. The space comes with a California King Size bed and will ensure a good nights sleep. LED and pendant lighting (dimmer controlled) will set the mood while window treatments can either let the sunshine in, or block it out. There is a 42'' flat-screen HDTV with cable and Wifi in the air if you opt to stay connected, but only if you wish :)

What makes this property unique

Outside your door to Main street you'll be in the center of town instantly. Awake to the fresh smells of the farmers' market in the Summertime and fall asleep to the glow of the Christmas tree display during the winter.
