Our cozy cottage had been completely renovated with washer, dryer, all new stainless steel appliances, new wood floors, open concept, outdoor shower with hot water, new AC and heat. All smart TVS in bedrooms and living area. Front deck to enjoy morning breakfast.
Located in perfect location to ride bikes or walk anywhere on the island. 5 minute car ride to beach. Toys, beach chairs and beach chairs available to enjoy the beach.

Our favorite place to stay in Chincoteague. It’s clean and cozy and in walking distance from lots of food and fun. The beach is a very quick drive away. We can’t wait to come back!

Cozy cottage stay

Nice location

The space was nice, The furniture could use some updating inside and out. The recliner didn’t work closest to the door. The kitchen could use more dishes, bathroom small but nice. It was a little offensive having locked cabinets in each room and there was no storage for food stuff.

Wonderful home

We had a fantastic stay at this home. This home is super clean, family friendly and the hosts did a fantastic job at anticipating guest needs. This is an absolutely beautiful property within walking distance of stores. We will definitely come back.

Lovely place

Our second stay at this property and it was lovely. The house is perfect for a small family or a few friends. It has everything you need and you can walk to lots of places and the beach is a super quick drive. The lower bunk mattresses are not the comfiest so I would recommend bringing something for that. Otherwise a great spot!

Good location and clean house

The property was close to the park and stores, so quite convenient. The house was as pictured, perfect for a couple and two kids. Clean and modern. Only bit of a hang up was we had to leave later than usual, as when leaving you need to wash, dry and fold sheets/towels.

What a cute little beach town!!! The house and location was perfect. Lots to do on the island. It was a short drive to the beach. We rented some bikes and saw much of the island. The boat tour is a must do. They aren’t kidding about the mosquitos!

right size, right location

Property may look small, but fitted our needs and could have had a few more kids squeeze in. Nicely laid out, with upgraded appliances and fixtures. Great location for access to Chincoteague and Assateague. Nice that they have some extra beach stuff in the storage out back to use, but kitchen could do with a bit of cleaning out of other peoples left behind food/drinks.

Holiday Family Vacation

We had a great time during our stay at the property over the 4th of July. It was super easy to check-in and while we didn’t need to be in communication about anything, we felt the owner was accessible. Our family loved the backyard and outdoor shower. You can tell this property is a vacation home for the owners as there was a lot of their items around (shoes, food in fridge and freezer, etc). This was not an issue for us just putting it out there so you are not surprised if you stay here. Overall, it was a nice little place to call home for our week in Chincoteague.

Cozy and cute, great location.

We had a great stay. The rooms are well laid out and cozy, and all of the appliances were clean and in working order. The furniture was clean and comfy, and the decor was very pleasing. Smart TVs and WiFi were on point, too. Both the inside and outside showers worked well and were very clean upon arrival, same for washer/dryer. The gazebo & firepit made the backyard a lot of fun, and the grill already had a propane tank ready to go. The location is quiet, but close enough to the main strip that most things are within easy walking or biking distance. There are a few things to be aware of, but nothing that should deter you from staying here. Firstly, no dishwasher, so be ready to go old school. Secondly, the bathroom door wouldn't latch, so couldn't be locked. Nothing knocking first couldn't fix, though. Thirdly, the kid's room didn't have air conditioning, so you may need to leave the door open to keep it from getting too hot in there. Lastly, anyone staying here with small children should be aware of 2 things: 1) the ceiling fan in the kid's room is right between the two top bunks, so anyone up there could easily forget and hurt themselves on it. 2) The stove may turn on if you bump into it. Heed the owner's warning and keep everything off the top unless cooking. These are all very minor issues and the cottage's comfort, charm, and great location all make up for them in spades. Rena is so friendly and helpful, too, so don't hesitate to jump on it if it's available.

Cute cottage in great location

I had a fantastic time here with my kids, ages 6 and 10. The cottage is clean, up to date and comfortable. The location is within walking distance to restaurants and stores and across the street from the pony centre. The beach is only 5-10 mins away and it was so convenient to be able wash [the kids] off in the outdoor shower when we got back. I would recommend bringing HDMI cables to connect to the bedroom TV's because we couldn't get either of them to work but this was not a big deal for us. We can't wait to visit again!

Fabulous Rental and location

This property is absolutely fabulous! We have rented other cottages in the area and this one is our favorite. Easy accessible to the bike trail and restaurants. The home is very clean and the out door shower is a plus. We look forward to renting this cottage again.

Perfect for couple or small family

We very much enjoyed our stay! We didn’t have any issues, so we didn’t have much contact with the renters, but the house had everything we needed. Location is perfect if you are interested in walking over to the local brewery, but you’re never far from anything on the island!

Great location and amenities!

Stayed here with my wife and 1.5yr old. Walking distance to brewery, seafood shack, gift shop, and the pony center, about ten minute drive to the beach. Very centrally located to shops/restaurants/activities. Clean with very nice appliances, very easy to cook in this kitchen. Everything seems to be laid out where you’d expect it to be. If you’re traveling with a small child I’d recommend policing some of the decorations - there are some very pretty (and interesting to toddlers!) decorations at child-height. We stashed these on top of the fridge to keep them out of the way. TV is huge and the couch is quite comfortable. The AC system works very well and is easy to operate, makes me want a setup like this in my own house. Outdoor shower was great for keeping sand out of the house. Yard grass out back is very soft on your feet. Having a line to line-dry clothes was very nice. Remember that the trash drop off is closed on Tuesday’s - when we go back we’ll probably try to drop a small bag every day rather than wait until we have a couple bags. Nice space to come back to after a day out at the beach. Would definitely like to rent this space again on subsequent visits!
