We really enjoyed the house. It's on a quiet street a short drive to town and Okemo. It was well stocked with soap, paper goods, etc and the kitchen was updated and had everything needed to cook. It's nicely furnished and we also appreciated being able to park in the garage. We will stay again when we visit Okemo. The property manager was helpful when needed.
Great place to stay and enjoy Vermont. Our friend, our 180 pound mastiff, our six month old baby all enjoyed the trip and was the perfect size for all of us. Nice and local to Ludlow’s downtown.
Good stay, could’ve been great. Door code didn’t work, repeat gripe from previous reviews. Took 15 min on phone with customer service to get into house. Driveway and porch way not cleared despite snow 2 days prior. Bunk beds in poor repair, ladder loose and not even connected at the bottom of the left bunk bed. Great location, but expected more from the price point.

Beautiful house and convenient location
It’s a very beautiful house and close to all amenities and lot of places to explore.
Loved this house and property. Super cute and comfy. Really enjoyed a relaxing weekend at this house. We stayed in both nights because we loved it so much, hope to return again in the future.
Sone of the amenities were a problem.1) The dryer did not work, which we were advised about by “Matt” just prior to arrival. As a result we could not do any laundry!2) When we used the ovens one evening they emitted significant smoke - which did not set off any smoke alarms, which was a worry, but…..3) There seem to be 2 smoke detectors by the back door, which seems to be the wrong place to have them AND on the day after the ovens emitted.smoke, for some unknown reason one of the detectors started periodically beeping and would not stop! We called Matt and he had someone come to the house and disconnect the beeping detector. We think the house has no operating smoke detector (or carbon monoxide detector for that matter). There is an iPad that seems maybe could be used to see what is working, but it was not understandable to any of us.4) The towel rail in the en-suite bathroom kept falling off the door it was installed on due to poor installation - whenever that was! Jerry, who Matt sent over to disconnect the beeping smoke alarm, thankfully fixed the problem.5) One evening the fridge started making a noise that sounded like a fan was hitting something. It eventually stopped, but a “replace air filter” message”came up on the front door panel. So..,that was annoying.6) All the dining chairs are wobbly/shakey to some degree. They need some TLC.7) The en-suite bath drains very slowly. It also needs some TLC. Also the downstairs toilet is wobbly!

Casa Okemo was comfortable, clean and adorable. The pictures online did not do it justice. The house was more spacious and better decorated than we expected. The kitchen was a little light on tools/supplies but we made do. Very short ride to Jackson Gore and town is walkable. Would definitely stay there again.

Great once you can get in
VACASA gave us the code to get into the house. It didn't work. We went to the lock box by the garage. We couldn't get into it. After calling the VACASA number and speaking with an agent who gave us multiple codes to enter into the key pad on the front door. We still could not get into the house. The VACASA agent said that she would call a local person to come to the house whilst we stood outside in 28 Deg F. Thankfully we were finally able to get the lock box open. For future guests this is not a normal lock box. I tried to call the local Ludlow VACASA office to let the local agent know we were able to get into the house. That number went to a voicemail with a full mailbox. Finally VACASA's handyman showed up. He was the only useful person in this whole process. He could not get the key pad to work either and told us it had been broken, that there had been issues with it and it had recently been replaced. We let him know we would use the old fashioned door key for the remainder of the trip.
The thing is, this is a lovely house to stay in and we have stayed there a number of times. The rest of the weekend was lovely and whilst the kitchen is not the best equipped kitchen if you want to cook, it has the basics.

Short Ski break
Served all our needs was clean, very comfortable and we loved the fire in the evening. Also close to town and the slopes. Would definitely return
We rented this place because we were having work done on our home and needed to vacate. We picked Ludlow because we are familiar with the area. It was surprisingly cozy, very clean and comfortable. It had a nice yard for our dog. It is in a very tight neighborhood so noise could be an issue. It was convenient to the mountain and down town. Kitchen could be better appointed for people that like to cook, better knives, pans etc. Overall good deal for the price.

Great vacation spot
Great place and backyard moments from downtown for family and friends to hang out for a week.
Amazing! We had a wonderful stay at Casa Okemo. The check-in process was smooth and the house was very clean upon arrival. We all felt at home right away! The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need. All little details were appreciated! Great outdoor space for everyone to enjoy. It’s great that dogs are allowed too! Ideal location to town with stores and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!
We had a VERY hard time finding the rental for several reasons: poor street signage in town, the bridge in the middle of town being under construction with no detour clearly visible in the dark, and no picture of the house taken from the street (just from the backyard!).
The Inside looked cute. However, a dirty coverlet, entry doors that could not close, closet doors that could not open, and the inability to close the pocket door on the bathroom (no latch to grab onto) soured the experience.
Otherwise, the rental was very nice.

The house location , just minutes to ‘downtown’ Ludlow. Okemo is a short drive .
The interior of this property was spotless . The choices in counters , appliances, floors , bathroom designs were very very nice . A nice setup - and everything was well thought out . JDS/ CT- aug ‘22
The property was very clean. The neighbors are lovely. The house and deck are great. The yard was large with lots of room for kids and dogs to run. We had a summer stay and enjoyed being able to walk easily to everything in town. Even in early August heat, the house stayed cool with windows open. Nothing but rave reviews from our family!
This is the second time we have stayed at this house. It's larger inside than it looks from the outside and the photos don't reflect just how cozy it is. The house is beautifully furnished and the kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook. I needed to do some work whilst we were there and the internet connection is great. The house is located very close to the center of Ludlow. The staff at VACASA were great to deal with and I really appreciate their promptness for any questions. Great trip!
