BEST VILLAGE LOCATION! Northstar Village 1br Loft Condo-steps To Everything.

What needs to be said, besides this is THE PLACE and a GREAT VALUE to be IN THE VILLAGE. This is an amazing Northstar Village condo! Enjoy ski in/ski out convenience from this nicely remodeled "penthouse" corner unit with views - 1 Bedroom in the loft plus 2 full bathrooms! Recently remodeled (may 2023) with air conditioning and new floors replacing the upstairs carpeting and brand new pottery barn deluxe sleepers (queen and twin) to replace the old couches which were getting uncomfortable. The unit has its own private parking spot, but you will not need your car -- we walk everywhere from the unit -- the shops and restaurants are all downstairs in the village. Take the stairs or the elevator and you will be in the middle of it all. Grab groceries at Earthly Delights across the way or catch a movie at the new first run cinema. We also have access to the recreation center with outdoor hot tubs, pools, game room, exercise facilities, etc.

The unit is very comfortable with 55" and 42" HD flat panel TVs (and a cosy faux fireplace to boot). High speed wireless internet - Fully equipped kitchen - and all linens are provided. There is a king bed in the loft/master, and the sofa pulls out to a queen in the living room. There is a second couch with a twin bed as well. We also provide an airbed. There is also a portable crib in the upstairs closet if needed. Two full bathrooms make it a dream for everyone to have their own space. Just bring your readiness to relax and your skis (or tennis racquet and golf clubs in the Summer), and the rest is there for you. Also only a 10 minute drive from the lake. This condo has it all.

Northstar Charm Perfect for a Small Family

The property was perfectly located in Northstar Village and had all the Tahoe charm. It was the ideal size for a small family. The icing was our incredible VRBO host, who was so accommodating, organized and a prompt communicator. We enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed celebrating New Years in the village with a short walk back to this condo. With our two children it was perfect for walking to the slopes with afternoon naps.

The location in the Tahoe Village was excellent. It was super easy to get to the lifts and there were a few restaurant options to choose from. Parking was also quite easy. I would consider location the high point of this rental.The check-in and checkout processes were not nearly as smooth as I expect for a highly rated property like this. Upon arrival, the property had not been cleaned, but the owner was very responsive and quickly got a cleaning crew out to resolve the issue. Unfortunately they didn’t let me know when they were finished so I was wandering around outside in the cold for much longer than necessary. I was given a partial refund due to this inconvenience, which mostly made up for it.The condo itself was fairly nice, but as a detailed-oriented person, there were many things that I just couldn’t ignore during my stay. A few examples were the leaky kitchen faucet which dripped onto the floor, the partially open upstairs window blind (no blackout) that let in a lot of light at night time, the stereo system which didn’t seem particularly functional (no Bluetooth, cd player wouldn’t turn on), and the neighbors next-door whose conversations inwardly clearly on a regular basis. Oh, and there were only three bowls which led to me constantly doing dishes. I didn’t find myself settling in as much as I usually do. I didn’t receive any checkout reminders at the end of my stay, but did my best to leave the place better than I found it which wasn’t very hard haha.

Just right in the heart of village

Great price point for location in the heart of Northstar village. Place was clean and fully stocked with all we needed. Queen and twin pottery barn pullout beds in living room was perfect for 2 kid family. Abe was quick to respond when we left behind our iPad too.

The location of property cannot be beat! The Sachs family is super responsive and easy to work with. Could the place use a little TLC, absolutely but not enough to differ me from already booking again. We had a great two week visit in Northstar and loved the condo location!

Great location at great price

Great corner unit in Northstar village at a great price. We will be back! Clean and comfortable. We had a family of 5. Two adults in loft bedroom with 6 yr old on air mattress, and 2 teens downstairs on pullout couches: 1 standard pullout (avg comfort) and 1 memory foam very comfortable (can fit 2 on this). We had to park in lot due to roof rack but still very close (100 ft walk). Great setup overall!

Great location in the Village! Beautiful tall windows in the main living area to watch the snow fall! My only suggestion would be to make sure linens are fully stocked and easy to find. We used the linens from the sofa bed for the blow up bed because we could not find any other linens. We were unable to locate any additional pillow cases. Everything else was super easy and would definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay in the best location!

we enjoyed our stay at this property! Our host Abe was a wonderful person - attentive to details and he was a text away. The place is spacious for our family with young children. The kitchen had all the cooking gadgets you can think of and came stocked with condiments. We did bring our own but it was a nice touch to have more in stock. The location was more than ideal. It is right across from the convenient store on site, the movie theater, and a 5-min walk to the gondola. We have our own dedicated parking space. It sure beats hunting for parking or taking the shuttle (long lines on popular days). We will definitely stay here again! thank you Abe!

Great option for a stay at Northstar

As luck would have it, temperatures were upwards of 90 during our stay. I only mention that because there isn’t AC (I was aware of this) if that is something that will pose a problem as a guest. Northstar is fantastic, and I loved the top floor corner location of this unit. It was very quiet, the evenings were nice on the back deck (shaded), you are so close to everything on property, and you can watch the sunrise over the mountains right off the deck. The owner was very communicative and friendly. The property was clean and ready when we got there. The parking space is convenient and covered. We don’t get up to Northstar often, but I would definitely look to see if this unit is available for the next summer or winter visit.

It's a 1 bedroom loft with a pull out sofa bed that didn't have a mattress just a thin box spring. We had to cover that with all the blankets we could find and it was still horrible. The listing says sleeps 5 but there isn't a third bed or a chair to sit at the table. It hab the barest if minimum plates and glassware. The upstairs shower was gross with rows of tiles falling off the wall. A very disappointing rental that was in a fabulous location. As a former VRBO host for many years the owner should get things in order before renting it again.

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the rental Steve. I wish you would have contacted us about the bed situation, as there is an air mattress in the upstairs closet that we use for the 5th sleeper. I also take issue with you calling the upstairs shower gross. I was there 2 days before your rental and it was clean. It's true that some of the tiles have cracked but they are not falling off. We have someone coming to replace them at the end of the month. Best of luck in the future. Again I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the rental

Overall, great place

The Sachs family are wonderful, responsive hosts. The prior reviews were correct in that this place could use a little love and that the cleaning crew maybe doesn’t do the best, but the reality is, we weren’t here to sit in the condo. Most of the days were out adventuring and the condo was a perfect place to end the day. There aren’t bathtubs for those traveling with littles, but the showers are plenty big so it worked for us. The parking is very tight, we drive a 4Runner and the spot assigned only has 7ft clearance so it worked fine but if there had been a car next to us it would have been very tight. There are plenty of things to do walking distance, and the recreation area is amazing with access to gym, pools, tennis courts, and more. End of the day we would/plan to return!

Location is perfect for access to everything.

Feels like Tahoe. I spent many years going to Northstar as a kid and came back after decades to enjoy everything with my family. Loft makes the place feel larger, and it has a very homey feel. The host was very responsive to any questions. Highly recommend it if you value convenience.

Location is amazing!

Arrived on the last day of the storm that dropped 17 FEET of snow!! On the day we arrived, roads were closed and getting there were a nightmare due to the snowfall. Our only gripes were the property wasn't as cleaned as expected and many basic things were missed like paper towels...but understandable given the circumstances. Another issue was the parking situation. Someone had parked like an idiot in the space next to ours leaving no room for us to park. This is more of an issue with the A-Hole who doesn't know to park and won't place any blame on the owners. All in all, Once we realized that getting into the Gondola line literally took 2 minutes from the room, we were in love. It had a nice view and location was perfect. Right across the walkway there was a small little store that had anything you would need for your stay. Will definitely stayt again when we go back to Northstar.

Great location but the place needs some love

The location is amazing, but the apartment needs a deep cleaning from top to bottom. Dust everywhere, patched tiles in the bath, the door downstairs is about to fall, expired condiments from like 2012 in the kitchen-at least remove so nobody get food poisoning. The place is great but needs some love, a handyman and a better cleaner.
