Apartment block "Eden", renovated in 2003. Above Wengen, 400 m from the centre, in a central, sunny position. In the house: lift, central heating system. Pre-arrival grocery service. Shop, grocery, supermarket 400 m, restaurant 200 m, bar, bakery 400 m, 7 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Lauterbrunnen (by train)" 3.4 km, railway station "Wengen", outdoor swimming pool 400 m. Cable car, skisport facilities 400 m, slopes 50 m. Well-known ski regions can easily be reached: Jungfrauregion. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thunersee 13 km, Brienzersee 13 km. Please note: car-free holiday complex. Arrival via mountain railway. Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen – 14 minutes driving time.
"Eden Apt.D", 3-room apartment 61 m2 on 2nd floor. Stylish and cosy furnishings: living/dining room with cable TV, radio, CD-player and DVD. 2 rooms, each room with 2 beds (90 cm, length 200 cm). Open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, microwave, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso) extra, fondue Set (cheese)). Shower/WC, bath/shower/WC. Small balcony. Very beautiful panoramic view of the mountains. Facilities: washing machine, dryer, iron, hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only.

The unobstructed view of Jungfrau from the balcony is perfect. Whether admiring the majestic mountain while drinking coffee in the morning or watching the snow-topped peaks change colors at sunset was a highlight of our vacation. The apartment is clean and well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed for meal preparation. It is only a 5-minute walk to the COOP grocery, only a 5-minute walk to the train station, and a 7-minute walk to the Männlichen gondola, which makes getting to all the must-see villages and hikes in the region very easy. Even though the train track to/from Kleine Scheidegg is nearby, it is not very loud, and, besides, the train to Kleine Scheidegg stops running in the early evening. (The train to Lauterbrunnen, which does not pass by the apartment, continues running much later in the evening, which is nice for coming back from Lauterbrunnen and excursions beyond there.) It is a rather steep climb from the train station and downtown Wengen to the apartment, but that is going to be the case no matter where one stays in Wengen, and is a small price to pay for the tremendous location and view of this apartment. Having the washer and dryer were essential for our two week stay. And while not essential, the collection of James Bond and Pink Panther DVDs made for some enjoyable evening TV time. The furniture and carpets are not the newest, but are perfectly functional. We give this Eden apartment our highest recommendation. We would love to come back.

Na een vroege aankomst konden we toch direct gebruik maken van het appartement! Super service, extra lang kunnen skiën hierdoor! Net en modern appartement, voorzien van alle zaken welke nodig zijn, zelfs een wasmachine en droger zijn aanwezig. Goed en schone pannen en prima bedden.

Midden in de bergen ...

Eden is een ideaal appartement voor een stel dat van de bergen houdt. De inrichting is zeer comfortabel, de keuken is compleet en het uitzicht op het balkon is fantastisch. Het appartement ligt vlak bij het centrum en station van Wengen en is een perfect uitgangspunt voor tochten door het Berner-Oberland.

This is the third time staying at this property (2009, 2011, 2018). Great location close to train station, very comfortable for two of four. Perfect location. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Comfortable beds. Comfortable seating for four in living room. Great views.

Mooi appartement met een prachtig uitzicht. Klein klimmetje om er te geraken maar zeker te doen. Heel zacht matras.. mag voor mij wat harder. 2 badkamers, wat heel positief is. Goede service van Interhome !

Een comfortabel appartement met prachtig uitzicht

Voor ons als ouder echtpaar was dit het ideale appartement, voorzien van alle mogelijke faciliteiten. Het ligt vlak bij het station en je hebt vanaf het balkon prachtig uitzicht op de bergen. We hebben er met veel plezier gewoond en het was ook een ideaal uitgangspunt voor tochten in de omgeving.
