Holiday home with heated swimming pool in Dordogne

House with a swimming pool, 15 minutes away from Sarlat-la-Canéda. The house is located in a quiet environment with an open view. You can often see some deers in the garden. It’s the perfect place to combine rest and visits or even work remotely.

The house has been completely renovated from 2021 to 2022 so that each room has its own bathroom with WC.

La Coquette, as we have named it, is a typical Perigourdine house built along a cliff and has had several extensions over the years. The older part is connected to the newer part via a hobby room. An additional small house with living/bedroom and bathroom and private access is available for guests.
The rooms under the roof have air conditioning, the rest of the house stays pleasantly cool even in summer thanks to its stone walls. In addition, all the rooms have mosquito nets so you can sleep with the fresh evening air of the Dordogne.

La Coquette, is our family holiday home. It is therefore equipped with all the comforts to stay in it all year round. Wifi is available throughout the house and even in the garden thanks to the router.
The kitchen is equipped with many extra ustensils that can be used in addition to the usual household appliances (oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, blender, Dolce Gusto coffee machine...). There is a washing machine and a dryer in the laundry room, as well as storage with outdoor games such as badminton or pétanque. The TV runs on internet and you can even watch your favorite TV shows on Netflix or Prime Video. A DVD player and some books complete the equipment.

The beds are made upon your arrival and towels are provided. Cleaning supplies are also available if needed. Cleaning is included in the rent.

The house has several dining areas. You can sit on the covered terrace next to the barbecue, in the shade of the catalpa tree or in the spacious dining kitchen. The large garden will delight you with its numerous fruit trees (peach, fig, cherry, walnut, apple...) and aromatic herbs (rosemary, sage, thyme, mint...).

In the house there is a hobby room with table football and board games for young and old, or you can relax on the veranda overlooking the garden and read your favourite book.
There is a table tennis table on the terrace for endless games.

The pool has a poolhouse, where you can watch your children swim sitting in the shade or sunbathe on the sun loungers provided. A toilet is available.

A surveillance system is installed for your safety.

Sightseeing
"La Coquette" is an ideal place for sightseeing due to its location, among others:
Sarlat la Canada, La Roque Gageac, Domme,
the castles of Fenelon, Castelnaud, des Millandes,
the gardens of Marqueyssac, d'Eyrignac and
the caves of Cougnac.
Sporting activities are also very popular:
Greenway (hire of bicycles) or canoes/kayaks,
you can go swimming nearby in the river Dordogne or the Grolejac lake.
And there are many beautiful hiking trails in the area.

Not forgetting the local gastronomy with its gourmet markets and numerous farms that welcome you with foie gras, "cabecou" and more.
