The lodge was incredibly cozy. Clean and exactly what we were looking for for our large group attending our family wedding. We would absolutely stay there again!
Fantastic property for a family. Five separate bedrooms, each having its own bathroom. The kitchen is well-stocked and the common area is comfortable. Perfect location for riding the train.
Fantastic house 1 block from the Chama train. 5 bedrooms and each has its own bathroom which made it very convenient for us. Kitchen nicely appointed. There is also a separate restroom off the living/dining area. Just a quick bit of information though, it does not have a washer/dryer available in the house but there is a laundromat a couple of blocks away. Great communication with the owners as well.
The house was great for our extended family. We had parents, 3 grown daugters, and 2 grandkids. The kitchen/dining/great room were all just right for our group to hang out before and after our ride on the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic RR. The house is very convenient to the train station, has good parking in front. It was super clean and well furnished. The Outlaw BBQ down the street was great.
This property is perfect for a weekend getaway with family or friends. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and the layout is great. Owners are easy to communicate with and very accommodating! Thanks for the much needed quiet weekend away!

Thank you! We hope to host you again down the road!
With individual rooms and bathrooms this lodge makes for the perfect getaway with large friend/family groups. The living room is spacious and offers a place for all guests to hangout and socialize. We especially loved the covered back patio, it made for enjoying the mountain nights and eachothers company so easy.
The place was clean and well kept. This was a nice place to get a group of friends together. There was a water issue in town, so the host's provided warer bottles to drink.

Nice place in a nice little mountain town.
It was very clean and had a bathroom every bedroom. It advertised that it had Direct TV and it did not.
Austin was very quick in answering all our questions in a timely manner. The house had a very cozy feeling. Great for a family gathering especially in the summertime. Thank you for having the heat on when we walked in. We will surely rent it again next February. 🙂
The space was great for 4 adults and 3 kids ages 5 and 9. The location is great. We walked to restaurants and to the train. The kitchens and bathrooms were updated. Plenty of space to spread out. Carpets and rugs were very dirty. Seating in the great room was plentiful but uncomfortable. Beds were fairly comfortable. No air but fans in every room and opened windows at night. Comfortable during hottest week of the year. Nice fridge, oven and stove, dishwasher. Tv in great room. Hifi worked well. Saw a bear walking down the street at night. Saw a dear with large antlers downtown. Overall a good experience.
No washing machine or dryer as door to utility was locked. Owner did say the washing machine was broken or he would allow guests to use it. Heat in bedrooms were inconsistent. Mattresses need replacing as they have seen better days. One person said the foot of his bed foot area sloped off so bad he thought he would roll off onto the floor. Not enough electrical plug ins. A strip of plug ins would be nice in each room. Difficult to read numbers on the cooking stove. None of the chairs were comfortable. One bedroom had fast water to the shower and the other rooms were very slow. Ample parking, easy access for person using a walker. All guests were men hunting and they all said they would stay there again.
The home was perfect for our group. The location was close to the train and only restaurant open. I wish someone had told us that Monday and Tuesday’s there was only one restaurant open. We would have brought food in. The heater in the house keeps the bedrooms too warm. There were no extra blankets to be found when heater was low. A comforter is not a blanket. Suggest having blankets on beds.
