THINGS TO KNOW
There is a 40 lb weight limit for dogs. Restricted breeds include Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Presa Canarios, Chow, Mastiffs, Doberman Pinschers, Akita, Wolf hybrids, Cane Corso, Great Danes, Alaskan Malamutes, Boxers, Huskies, American Bulldogs, Mini Bullies, and Belgian Malinois. This includes mixes of these breeds as well.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Weekend getaway

It was a wonderful property, great price, great location, great views. Bed was comfy. Rooms were clean. Having indood and out door pool/hot tube was perfect. I would recommend staying here. Honestly i would stay here again if i visited MB again.

A perfect beach getaway

From booking the stay, to checking out, our entire experience was amazing! The property was very well maintained and you could tell cleanliness is a priority. We enjoyed both the indoor, and outdoor pools/hot tubs, the beach, and the restaurants in the area.

The view was the best. The bed was very comfy, if you like a soft bed. The toilet could use some repairs as it took a long time to fill or it just ran until we jiggled the handle. Other than that, no complaints. Everything was nice and clean in our room.

My favorite place to stay

We love Ocean Park resort and stay there every year. Great beach access, comfortable clean rooms, and nice pools and spas. Was a little disappointed that our favorite spot - the outdoor spa - was not working properly while we were there, but we still had such a great time.

Birthday Getaway

We loved our 5 day birthday getaway. The weather was not at its best for most of it but we had a great time anyway. We loved the location. We walked everyday on the beach between rain showers. We traveled with our dog and it was perfect. (She got a welcome gift) we would definitely stay here again. 🙂

Beautiful view and location! ROOM 1020

Property outside was well maintained and beautiful. Front desk employees were professional but not friendly. Hallways and interior rooms definitely need some updating. Bathroom sink was plugged, and toilet was constantly running and sometimes didn't flush. Was also disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. Despite these drawbacks we enjoyed having the kitchen, space, comfortable bed, pools, ocean, and beautiful view from our balcony.

Great view!!

Love this resort. We have stayed here often. This is the second time in 1020. Very comfortable room and setup. Large space and roomy. We stayed for almost a month this time. Everyone was polite and positive our experience was great. No issues. A big plus is to have our dog with us, as he enjoys MB too. Also have used the Furology services and they are great! We recommend this resort as it is centrally located and oceanfront!!!

Room smelled like cigarettes and wet dog. The bathroom especially smelled like dog. The floors in our room were nasty, sticky, filmy. Definitely needs a deep clean. Bed was comfortable and kitchen items were very useful. Overall stay was good, just wish the room was cleaner and didn’t smell like dog and cigarettes. Very strong smell.

Definitely Pet-Friendly!

Great location! Enjoyed having the beachfront view of the ocean, and the hot tub (indoor and outdoor) was perfect for a cold rainy weekend. Appreciated the dog-friendly accommodations--so many places claim to be dog-friendly when what they really mean is that we'll be happy to charge you a lot more money for bringing your pet to our hotel! The Vacasa messaging before the visit were misleading. It made us think we'd be getting a passcode to enter the room so we didn't have to go through a check-in process. I was panicked when we arrived and couldn't find the code to get to our room, but of course, that's because there was no such thing--you had to check-in like any other hotel. Very deceptive.

Nice for the price

We enjoyed our stay in 1020. The room itself was perfect for two of us. The view from the balcony was perfect and again, perfect for two. Our only complaint about the room was the bed. It was so uncomfortable. The staff was great. Every staff member that we encountered was friendly and helpful.

Affordable getaway

The room was clean and comfortable. The furniture was a little outdated. The air conditioner is resting on some 2x4s but not noticeable at first. The place was close to the beach and had a great view. With a couple fixes this spot would be ideal. The resort indoor pool needs some TLC as the roof has big holes in it. For the price you get a clean spot close to the beach and that’s what matters most.

I would definitely come back to this spot. I was very satisfied with everything from check in to check out. Everything went smoothly, the room was nice and clean, no lingering odors(being a dog friendly resort), and being able to see the sun rise and set over the ocean was perfect! Loved my stay. Can’t wait to visit again.
