About this property

The PineHurst Lodge - Lower Clam Lake - Snowmobile Trail Access- Pontoon Rental

Nestled on the shores of Lower Clam Lake, the historic Pinehurst Lodge blends vintage charm with modern comfort. Once a gathering place for Northwoods adventurers, this spacious retreat offers five cozy bedrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, and room to make lasting memories. Enjoy the fire pit, gather with family and friends, or head out for a paddle. Whether relaxing or exploring, Pinehurst Lodge offers a one-of-a-kind escape in the heart of Wisconsin’s lake country.
The space
There’s a certain kind of magic in places that have stood the test of time, and this 100-year-old lodge in Clam Lake, Wisconsin, is one of them.

Once the heart of town life, Pinehurst Lodge was a classic Northwoods bar and resort where laughter echoed, snowmobiles lined up outside, and fish stories grew taller with every telling. It’s not fancy, and it’s not flawless, but it’s real. And it’s filled with the kind of character that can’t be manufactured.

Over the years, as time marched on, the lodge grew quiet. The lights went out, the laughter faded, and the building sat empty—weathered, forgotten, and nearly lost. Until we, Rich and Makala, found it.

We didn’t just see what it had been. We saw what it could be again—and what it still meant to the people who remembered it. So we rolled up our sleeves and got to work, restoring it room by room, board by board. We didn’t erase the history, we honored it. The creaky floors stayed. So did the charm. So did the stories.

Today, Pinehurst Lodge lives again, not as a polished retreat, but as a place where families reconnect, friends laugh late into the night, and new memories are written into walls that have held them for generations.

The lodge offers five bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms, comfortably sleeping up to 10 guests. The large, fully stocked kitchen, featuring an industrial stove, is perfect for big breakfasts and group dinners. Inside, there’s a cozy wood-burning fireplace, a pool table, and a nostalgic Big Buck Hunter arcade game that guests of all ages love. Outside, you’ll find two charcoal grills and a firepit perfect for stories, s’mores, and stargazing.

While the lodge isn’t directly on the water, there’s lake access just about 100 yards down the trail, where you’ll find a private pier for your use. There’s also an onsite pontoon rental available for guests who want to explore Lower Clam Lake from the water.

With ample parking and easy trail access, this is a favorite spot for snowmobilers, boaters, fishermen, and families alike. It’s a place for those who value gathering over glamor, laughter over luxury, and connection over convenience. It’s for snowmobile crews who ride right from the driveway, fishing buddies swapping stories over a fresh catch, and families trading screen time for real time.

We brought this place back to life for people like you. For those who love old wood more than white walls. For those who know the best vacations aren’t always perfect, but they’re always meaningful.

This lodge holds over a century of memories, and we can’t wait for yours to be part of its next chapter.

Come stay. Come breathe. Come be part of the story.

– Rich & Makala
