Picture yourself in the heart of Lake Michigan, staying in this charming four-bedroom cottage. This home is just minutes from the beach and quaint Union Pier shops and restaurants, and is located in the popular Lakeshore Cottage community. There is a private association heated pool, plus a rec room that ensures fun is just a short walk away. It is a great place to swim, sunbathe, and enjoy the Michigan summer! Lakeshore Cottage has an open floorplan with vaulted ceilings and skylights. The comfy living area is situated around a beautiful fireplace with a TV. The kitchen, fully-equipped with all the amenities you need, opens up into the dining area. You’ll find a beautiful wood table with seating for up to eight guests. The main bedroom features a king-size bed and shares a bathroom with the second bedroom that features twin bunk beds. The third bedroom on the ground floor has a queen bed and shared attached bath with a walk-in shower.

The fourth bedroom is a loft over the garage, accessed by a separate stairway in the garage. It can function as a bedroom or as an additional recreation space complete with WiFi and a cable TV. It is furnished with two twin beds and a double futon that is a perfect hangout for older children. In the garage, you'll find a Ping-Pong table and beach toys. The front porch is ideal for relaxing and the screened back porch is the perfect place for a little outdoor dining on warm summer evenings. Step outside to grill up some burgers on the grill or some s'mores over the firepit. A half-mile walk through a quiet neighborhood will take you to the Union Pier beach at Townline Road. In this home, you’ll find it easy to sit back, relax, and enjoy all that Michigan has to offer!

Please note that if you are booking the home between the months of September through May, we ask that you please verify with the agent that the association pool will be accessible. The pool is set to be open from Memorial day weekend through Columbus Day weekend.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
