Welcome to Bluegill Lake Cabins, a peaceful East Texas getaway nestled on 22 private acres surrounded by pine trees, ponds, and nature. Our cozy rustic cabins are thoughtfully spread out across the property to give guests privacy, space, and a relaxing country atmosphere while still feeling welcoming and comfortable.



Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, family vacation, fishing trip, or simply a quiet place to unwind, Bluegill Lake Cabins was created to help guests slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the outdoors. Spend your mornings sipping coffee on the porch while listening to birds and frogs around the ponds, afternoons fishing, kayaking, canoeing, or exploring the property trails, and evenings relaxing in your private hot tub or gathered around the fire pit under the East Texas stars.



Guests are welcome to enjoy the property’s canoes and kayaks while exploring the ponds and soaking in the peaceful scenery. The property includes multiple ponds, open grassy areas, tall pine trees, and plenty of room to walk, relax, and enjoy nature. Peaceful East Texas Getaway

Absolutely loved our stay! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond for our dog. The Cozy Cabin, a.k.a. Feed Store, was adorable, cozy, and in the perfect country setting. The fishing was fantastic too! Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway.

Restful Stay at a Charming Cabin

Our cabin was cozy and comfy. It rained our entire stay which was a bummer so we couldn’t explore the property, kayak, or enjoy the hot tub. Really hope to visit during better weather in the future. Kevin was super helpful making sure we could get connected to the TV properly so we could cheer on our Rangers! Would love to see brighter lighting for reading, a tiny table on the side of the bed opposite the window, and a covered hot tub. That last one is a big ask I know but we could have enjoyed that while it was raining. ☺️ BONUS: I loved the sweet kitties that visited us every time we were outside. 🐈🐈‍⬛

Request for refund due to misleading property listingI am writing to request a refund for our recent booking, as the property was not accurately represented in the listing. The advertisement indicated there was a teo bedrooms downstairs and an additional bedroom upstairs. However, the upstairs bedroom was actually a very steep loft that was difficult and unsafe to access. As guests in our 60's and 70's , we were unable to safely go up and down these stairs. Additionally, the loft space was not a full bedroom, as it had very limited headroom.We also experienced a complete lack of phone service and internet at the cabin which was not clearly disclosed. This left us unable to communicate with family, adding to our concerns about safety. Due to these circumstances we felt the property unsafe and left within 10 minutes of our arrival - we contacted host but he did not respond. We respectfully ask you to review and assist us with obtaining a refund. And the listing be updated accurately to reflect unsafe access to loft and no phone or internet service. Thank you.

This review and request for refund is ridiculous. Everything is exactly as it is described in the description. High speed internet works great. You choosing a cheap cell service and not having service has nothing to do with my property. Our place is great and very safe. No one else has had any issues with this cabin or the description until you. If what you say was even remotely true there would be others reviewing it the same. There is not.
