Enjoy our waterfront home styled after historic bay lighthouses. Relax by the water in a hammock under the tall pines. Gather with family and friends around the fire pit. Take in the beautiful water sights while paddling in a kayak, canoe, or paddleboard. Laugh with family and friends while playing corn hole, croquet, or bocce ball waterside. Photograph abundant wildlife: bald eagles, blue herons, osprey, deer, turkey and numerous waterfowl, including tundra swan in the winter. Dine on the covered deck while enjoying beautiful sunsets. The house is octagon shaped with the large central family area having a high ceiling and stone fireplace. The house has a relaxed, casual atmosphere with games, books and movies for rainy days or quiet evenings. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a gas barbeque grill on the deck. Fresh eggs available from our on-site chickens.
Two kayaks, two paddle boards, a canoe, corn hole boards, croquet, bocce ball, and crab traps are ready for your enjoyment. The house has a hammock by the water under the tall pines and another hammock on the covered deck. There is also a fire pit by the water with plenty of firewood available. Scott & Melinda live in the ground level apartment. We like to say Hi to our guests and are available for questions or help, but we let our guests take the lead.
