New Large Adirondack Lodge with Pond Waterfront and A/C

Superior construction, excellent location, and attention to every detail make this one of the finest homes in Old Forge. Three floors of living space include a massive floor to ceiling fireplace on the window wall, magnificent entry, chef's kitchen with full dining plus a master ensuite and enclosed, screened porch with outdoor fireplace complete the first floor. Upstairs are two large bedroom ensuites, both with walk in closets and a loft/office area. On the lower level is a finished games and TV room, pool table room, bedroom and bath plus pantry and storage areas. Walk directly to and from this level to the garage to ride your sleds. This home has baseboard, hot water heat, is fully air-conditioned, has thermal windows and blown in insulation. The detached, 23 X 26 garage is heated and has a drive thru door system. Best yet, sit out in the back and have views of Lower Twin Pond, McCauley Mountain or sit in your hot tub to enjoy the warmth and comfort.

Our stay was outstanding. Bull Moose Lodge, as it is called, was perfect for our recent 90th birthday celebration and family reunion. It is spacious indoors and out, decorated beautifully with many amenities. Most importantly, the owner was very responsive to any inquiries we had, answering promptly. Would definitely recommend staying there.

No dishwasher soap, paper towels, cooking essentials (ex olive oil), was told that there was a nearby dump to remove waste from the property, however when we showed up with 6 bags of trash we were not informed we needed a permit that should be provided by the host. No firewood and no coffee filters. Having to run to the store to purchase things that should be supplied was rather inconvenient.

Wonderful stay

The house was awesome. The details and the design were perfect for the area. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all the amenities the house had to offer. Would definitely consider renting the house again!

We stay in Old Forge every year for a four day weekend during the Remsen Festival and this house by far was the best experience we have had in 50 years!Thank you for sharing the house, it was everything we hoped for.We have a wedding next year so we won’t be coming up but for sure 2027 we will be coming up!

Beautiful custom built home nestled in the woods! We loved our stay! Everyone was so comfortable with more than enough space to spread out. It was a very peaceful and relaxing weekend. We hope to return as soon as possible!

Beautiful house with a great kitchen for those who enjoy preparing memorable meals. Excellent living space with plenty of bathrooms for those staying with large groups. The house is set on beautiful grounds. The owner of this property did it right. Highly recommend this house for a family and friends getaway.

Family ADK Stay

House was absolutely gorgeous! They had a tree up and greenery for the holiday and it was beautiful. Beds were extremely comfortable and linens top notch. Kitchen was very well appointed with dishes and utensils! Furniture was really nice and the pool table and hot tub were great fun for all of us! Thank you Brad you really have an amazing place!! Bull Moose Lodge

Beautiful clean spacious home that has it all!! The moment we walked in my family was in awe of the grand foyer and ADK decor. Kitchen is fully stocked and has high end appliances. The beds are very comfortable with quality linens. Hot tub and pool table was a hit with my kiddos. Only a 4 min drive to a wonderful town.

Property was perfect,only negative was requests to remove garbage, and wash towels,run dishwasher..seems to me with what we paid,we shouldn’t be asked to do these things..it is a vacation,afterall..and fee charged by VRBO should include those things

Bachelorette Weekend

The house was great and very clean! The one thing we did have issues with was locking the patio doors. We were able to figure it out but they were tricky as the knobs had to be twisted one way while the lock was being twisted another way and they seemed to get jammed pretty easily. Otherwise no complaints at all!

Clark Family Gathering

The Lodge is beautiful! Plenty of room for all of us to spread out. We looked forward every morning to the arrival of deer right in the backyard! We drove to Fly Creek Valley Cemetery on Saturday to intern our parents ashes in the family plot. Later that evening we enjoyed a slide show on the large screen TV, reminisced, and shared stories of family times and loved ones gone by. Staying here in the comfort of this Lodge truly helped contribute to turning a sad day into a happier memory we will always look back on and smile. Just as our parents would have wanted. Thank you.

Relaxing Family getaway

The house is in a great location and is beautiful! With the exception of a wine opener the kitchen was fully stocked!! It was perfect for a family getaway. Here are the reasons I didn't give it a perfect score.It was 50 degrees in the house when we checked in. There wasnt any wood to start the fireplace despite the detailed instructions in the checkin info. We had to keep our coats on for 2 hours. I was thankful our 3 month old grandbaby didn't arrive until it was 60 degrees.We've never stayed in a VRBO where I needed to make the beds, wash the towels and drive the garbage to the dump. Overall it was a great trip.
