About this property
SkyView Treehouse Lakefront Private Hot Tub
Summary:
A peaceful retreat nestled in the trees along Belgrade Stream, just minutes from Belgrade Lakes Village and Messalonskee Lake. Built by three generations of our family, SkyView Treehouse is more than a stay — it’s a reflection of what we value most: peace, nature, comfort, and meaningful connection.
Whether you’re planning a honeymoon, celebrating an anniversary, or surprising your partner with a birthday getaway, we’ve poured our hearts into making this a place where memories are made.
The Space:
SkyView Treehouse is part of a peaceful lakeside property that also includes its sister treehouse, MoonLight (located side-by-side), Sunset Chalet, and our main home — all tucked along the quiet shoreline of Belgrade Stream. Each space is fully private, with its own hot tub, fire pit, and seating area. Lake access is shared via two docks, offering the perfect blend of seclusion and connection — especially for couples booking both treehouses or celebrating together.
From the moment you step inside SkyView Treehouse, you’re wrapped in warmth—surrounded by natural pine, soft textures, and the quiet presence of the trees just outside every window. You’ll feel both grounded and elevated here, like you’ve escaped the noise without giving up a single comfort.
Wake up in the loft to gentle morning light and views of the stream through the trees. Brew a cup of coffee in your full kitchen—complete with a retro-style oven, copper hood, and deep farmhouse sink—and settle into the dining nook as the day unfolds.
Downstairs, a second queen bed and cozy sleeper sofa offer plenty of space to unwind. A stone fireplace rises to the ceiling, perfect for curling up with a book or watching a movie after a day on the water. The bathroom feels like a forest spa, with its walk-in stone shower and an exposed pine tree woven right into the design.
Open the French doors and step onto your private deck. The hot tub is waiting. The grill is ready. Whether you’re soaking under the stars, sipping wine by the fire pit, or just listening to the loons call across the stream, this is a place where every moment invites you to slow down—and stay a little longer.
Guest Access:
Guests have full access to their own private hot tub, deck, grill, and fire pit. The outdoor space is open and shared, and you’re welcome to enjoy direct access to Belgrade Stream and Messalonskee Lake, along with the kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, sandy lake entry, boat dock, swimming, and fishing throughout your stay.
The Neighborhood:
SkyView Treehouse is tucked away in the heart of the Belgrade Lakes Region, just minutes from charming Belgrade Lakes Village. Nestled between Great Pond and Long Pond, this walkable village is filled with small-town character — think seasonal farmers’ markets, a cozy café, an old-fashioned ice cream stand, and local shops that come alive in the summer. It’s the perfect place to stroll by the water, grab a bite, or pick up something special from a local artisan.
Just 15 minutes away, you’ll find Augusta, Maine’s capital city. Downtown Augusta offers riverfront dining, breweries, boutique shops, historic buildings, and a peaceful walking path along the Kennebec River.
About 25 minutes from the treehouse is the picturesque town of Hallowell — a hidden gem with a creative, riverside vibe. Known for its antique stores, art galleries, live music, and excellent restaurants, Hallowell is a favorite among locals for its charm and character.
For golf lovers, Belgrade Lakes Golf Club is only a few minutes from your door — consistently ranked among the top 100 public golf courses in the country. With breathtaking views and an unforgettable layout, it’s a must for anyone looking to hit the links during their stay.
Whether you’re exploring local towns or simply soaking up the beauty of the lakes and forests, you’re perfectly placed to enjoy the best of Central Maine.

About the host
Hosted by Feras Alkurabi
I grew up in the heart of the city, surrounded by buildings, traffic, and a constant buzz of activity. Nature wasn’t part of my everyday life — it was something distant, something I only saw in postcards or movies. It wasn’t until much later that I truly discovered the peace, simplicity, and grounding beauty of the natural world. That discovery changed everything.
Hosting became my way of sharing that experience with others — to give people a chance to slow down, reconnect with the outdoors, and savor quiet moments they don’t get enough of in their daily lives. I now manage a collection of unique lakefront properties throughout Maine, and every one of them is designed with thoughtfulness, comfort, and charm. Whether it’s waking up to the sound of loons, soaking in a private hot tub under the stars, or simply enjoying coffee by the water, I want each guest to leave feeling more rested, more inspired, and more connected — to nature, to each other, and even to themselves.
This work is deeply personal to me. I pour my heart into every property and every guest experience. From the layout and design to the small details that make a stay memorable, I want people to feel cared for and at home. For me, hosting is about creating spaces where guests feel welcome, appreciated, and surrounded by beauty. It’s about giving others the kind of escape I never knew I needed — until I found it for myself.

Why they chose this property
The Belgrade Lakes area is one of Maine’s most beloved regions, and for good reason. We chose this neighborhood because it captures everything we wanted to offer in a lakeside retreat: true peace, timeless natural beauty, and direct access to some of the state’s most scenic and sought-after lakes — including Great Pond, Belgrade Stream, and Messalonskee Lake.
Our properties here sit right on the water — not nearby, not across the street — directly on the shoreline, with sweeping lake views, private docks, and immediate access to swimming, paddling, or just enjoying the quiet from a deck or hammock. There’s a sense of stillness in Belgrade you can’t describe until you experience it. The water is calm, wildlife is everywhere — from loons and herons to deer and the occasional eagle — and the sunsets are unforgettable.
We also love that this area offers a perfect balance: you’re surrounded by nature, yet just a short drive from great restaurants, local shops, farmer’s markets, and trails. The Belgrade Lakes village is charming and authentic, with a strong community feel and a slower pace that makes everything feel more personal.
We chose this neighborhood because it allows guests to truly unplug, recharge, and feel like they’re part of something special — not just on vacation, but immersed in the quiet, natural rhythm of Maine lake life.
