This is a well kept property and beautiful home as it is always reserved. Although its wonderful that families continuously book this unit , it does take on some normal wear and tear. Owners will be visiting soon for a spruce up after the summer peak season. Since this home is in a tropical oasis, on rare occasion certain insects can appear especially after a good bit of moisture. Dear Scott, We are so excited you and your family had an amazing time in the lovely home. The home is well equipped so that you do not have to dine out . That can be quite costly. I wish we had known about the grill brush. We would have been happy to bring some new ones over. We do supply initial amenities upon arrival but it is a good idea to bring some products if you are staying several days. We hope you plan to make a tradition in this home with the baby. Dear Courtney, Thank you for sharing . We take very detailed notes from guest when they have a concern about a home and we pride our selves on responding quickly and efficiently. Your comments prompted our staff to revisit your stay and determine why a poor review was given. Especially since most of this property's reviews have been outstanding. Our records indicate that there was never a call or email in reference to an oven not working. If there had been then we would have sent our maintenance department over. We understand how important cooking at home is especially with the current state our economy. Same goes for housekeeping. If anyone had mentioned the home was not sufficiently cleaned then we would have had housekeeping go back over. We can only correct what has been reported. If a guest finds a home unsatisfactory they usually SEND PHOTOS which we have none from your stay. In the past when we have had appliance issues, the owner is quick to replace or repair. He takes all recommendations seriously . You also mentioned parking. This home has 3 not 2 parking spaces. The owner put down brick pavers last year so he could add an additional spot . There is also overflow parking in the neighborhood for guest to use. This home does not sit directly on the beach but it is close by. We manage several homes in the neighborhood and other guest have no issue riding bikes, ,driving their car or walking. If a guest does not prefer these options to get to the beach, the Owner has a New Golf Cart that anyone can rent during a stay. Which you enjoyed. Lastly, we are sorry your Uncle was injured from a window shade . What is surprising is this was never reported either. Sanddollar One should have been notified especially about this incident so that it does not happen to others. Kriss Cottage is a well kept home that is frequented by the owners. They address all reported issues and its unfortunate the above statement from the guest is simply not accurate.

In your post you point out some minor cosmetic issues. When the owners bought this property, just over a year ago, they implemented their plan to add their touches to the home. As you can see from the Excellent reviews, guest have given this home 4 and 5 stars consistently. It is a PREFFERED home on VRBO. With, this it is a work in progress. To demonstrate, currently the owners have a Opened up the back patio area and have a company adding an additional parking spot. This is a great convenience for future guest especially since the home can sleep a large family. They also have replaced the Living room T.V. Lastly, we should have inspected the grill prior to arrival. Please in the future give us a call. We would have remedied the situation quickly. Once again, we thank you for Choosing Sanddollar One. We take our customer feedback very seriously and were disappointed to read your review. It’s unfortunate that your experience with us did not meet your expectations. However, we must address several inaccuracies in your comments: 1.The Golf Cart Fee: This home has been on our program since January of 2021, in that time the description has never wavered, the golf cart has ALWAYS been an option for the additional fee. Which you were informed of when you first emailed a few days before your arrival complaining about. 2. Backyard not being prepared for renters: We always perform two thorough inspections of our rental property before a guest's arrival. The first inspection is conducted prior to the cleaning process, and the second inspection follows directly after cleaning is completed. These steps ensure that the property, including the patio, is in excellent condition. To further support this, we have documented evidence in the form of pictures from both inspections showing that the patio and home were in pristine condition before your arrival. 3. Mattresses: As part of our standard procedure, after your stay, one of our inspectors conducted a thorough examination of every mattress in the home. All the mattresses and toppers in the home are under two years old. We have not received any complaints about the mattresses being unsuitable for sleeping. Additionally, there have been no reports from previous guests about any stains, such as yellow or brown spots, prior to your stay. The homeowners are dedicated to continually updating and enhancing the property to ensure the utmost comfort for their guests. They are also more than willing to replace any bedding, or furniture if necessary. 4. Room Above Garage Smell: We have no report on file of you calling in to let us know there was an issue with the room above the garage, or of it being uninhabitable during your stay, where this could be addressed and handled for you during your stay. 5. Garage being Locked: The garage is not offered with home; therefore, it is locked to maintain the owner’s personal possessions. 6. No Beach Chairs, Sand Toys, etc.: We do not advertise that any items such as beach chairs, sand toys or anything of the nature is provided or available at the home. In your reservation confirmation email, you are provided with a list of items the home comes stocked with to get you started. 7. Pool Closing Time: The pool is a community pool; we do not determine the closing time. 8. Distance from the Beach: The distance from the beach is .5 mi exactly. Our team works tirelessly to provide exceptional service, and it's clear from numerous positive reviews that many customers recognize our efforts. We regret that your experience did not reflect our high standards. We encourage constructive criticism, but spreading misinformation helps no one. I am incredibly proud of our team and product we provide. We are a PREMIER HOST for a reason. We may not be perfect, but if we could have done better I am willing to accept the responsibility! I do know I gave you and your family use of a cart for the entire week verses 4 days. I also know that we refunded you $112 of your 4 day cart reservation. We obviously work weekends because I received the call late Saturday night about the cart. I am shocked to hear there were cleaning issues.. I know I was personally at your rental twice and requested if there is anything I could do for you to please let me know. We did not receive any notice or mention of housekeeping issues within your property. We have cleaning crews and maintenance technicians available during both business hours and after hours. I assure you that if given the opportunity, we would work to address and rectify any and all concerns that may be affecting our guest's experience. We are continuously making improvements to provide an exceptional experience to our guests. I am disappointed you were not happy with your stay. and appreciated your feedback.

Dear Twyla, We thank for you for taking the time to share your impression of this beautiful cottage. The home is extremely nice and getting to the beach is very convenient compared to other locations along 30 A. Just like your home, from time to time there are repairs that occur during someone’s stay. This vacation you had issues with a T.V. and Washer and Dryer. In most circumstances these days, it could take days if not weeks before an appliance or repair person to come out to diagnose a problem. In this situation the owner went above and beyond to buy a “Brand New” 65 Inch T.V. which was not mentioned in your vacation summary. They also bought a brand-new “Stackable Washer and Dryer”. It would have taken weeks to repair this, so they decided to purchase a new one so the guest would be happy. Also, upon our departure inspection there were several lights that were broken in the bunk room that were not there before this arrival. We have photos on file. Sanddollar One replaced the lights at no cost to the guest. Even though this was not reported by the guest. It seems their small grievances due to repairs prompted these guests to give a 2-star ranking. This is clearly a 5-star home and others have shared their fabulous experience with the cottage and Sanddollar One. We thank you for choosing Sanddollar One the best Team on 30 A.
