A Nightmare
I'll state the facts and you decide.I saw that there had been a large amount of snow accumulating so I reach out through their email and asked if we would have any trouble accessing the VRBO and received an auto email back thanking us for booking with them and at the bottom it said we had been overbooked by $81.44.I inquired 3 times 3 different ways then the response was to contact VRBO for the overcharge. We arrived in another snow storm, to find that there was a huge drift off of the roof of the VRBO which left a tunnel, 3ft deep, to the front door. We were given the wrong code to get in 3 times. When we finally got in it was dirty from the previous people. Both entrances/exits and every window was blocked with 8 ft snow drifts, we decided we couldn't stay there. They moved us to a cabin that was currently occupied. They moved us again which was also dirty. By this time the roads were dangerous and it was late. We agreed to clean a bed and necessities ourselves with the understanding someone would clean it the next day. A maintenance, very nice, did come by and supply us with fresh towels and linen,(but I already laundered some). The manager said she would refund our cleaning fee. My comment was that was the least they could do so she refunded one nights stay. After 2 nights we left 2nights early, after no one came to clean the other 4 beds and bathroom. The manager said she wouldn't charge us for the unused days. But they did anyway. It was a mess!!!!!

Winter fun
Cabin is well located, walking distance to restaurants and general store. This village is one street long. Brian Head 45 minute drive. Snow fun for kids outside the door. Cabin is well decorated and roomy. Owner very responsive to the problem we had.

This place is super cute but…
This place is super cute, right in the village, plenty of space. However, VRBO asks for how many people in your party so you would think they would tell the host so they can properly stock linens and such. We had 8 people in our party. Thankfully we had property with out toy hauler close by but every once in a while we like to spurge on a nice place. I know I am probably going to sound like a Karen, I am really trying not too. We had to go back to our toy hauler so many times for extra towels, larges pots and pans, large kitchen knives. They had a grill on the patio, no propane the grill was dirty from the previous people, no lighter, so we had to go back to the property for a tank. Then we realized it didn’t have a hose for the propane tank. We had to call for that, thankfully the maint. Man was able to get one at true value. We needed up using the neighbors grill, and invited them to dinner to say thank you and because I bought too much food. The Wi-Fi didn’t work the whole time, but to be honest in that little area service is bad anyways so it’s okay. The dryer wouldn’t turn on. The figured out the sensor to the door wasn’t working right but we figure out how to line it up to work. All in all it wasn’t terrible just really inconvenient having to go back and forth for things like large pots and pans because the biggest ones they had were for a single person. We didn’t have enough towels and such like that but still cute place.

Cabin was very dirty!
This is our third time staying at these cabins. We loved our time staying here in the past. Not anymore, this place has gone downhill. It's now completed surrounded by a road and a ATV business that takes up all the parking and is loudly power washing all day. They don't bother stopping for you to walk by because they do it literally right in the entrance of the cabins. And the cabins themselves are very dirty. Moldy shower curtains, sanitary napkin under the bed, the floors look like they hadn't been deep cleaned in months, the dishes had a sticky film or crusted on food. The toilet upstairs was broken and the tub in the downstairs was clogged. These cabins are decorated cute and have so much potential. They need a new cleaning crew asap. They were gross!

Five 🦆 out of five
PROS: - Super cute and charming! Liked that it was “cabin-lite”—think more red plaid and loads of type signs and less typical moose and bears outdoor explosion - Easy access to the west road out of Duck Creek Village, estimating 300 yards close CONS: - No dishwasher. Thought there was based on some instructions but not a big deal at all! - Wi-Fi down. Could be user error but contacted help regarding lack of internet, received a quick text back that they’d let a manager know, and never heard about it again. It’s possible I missed it as I was spending time in Duck Creek campsite—probably for the best to not have internet and play outside! CONCLUSION: I would definitely stay here again, potentially renting the entire set of three cabins. Didn’t use the central space but looks fun and would be more so if you rented out the whole compound. Thanks!
