Perfect Location / Very nice Condo

We really enjoyed our stay at Windswept. It is just across the street from the ocean and one block from the pool. It was absolutely perfect for our family. We rode our bikes to the beach and pool every day but you could easily walk and be to both in minutes. The condo is great, very nice and plenty of room. We will definitely be visiting again and hopefully be able to rent this same property. Very pleased!

Expected more!

Checked in said they would text when place was ready . Didn't Most every thing closed. Plugs in both bath rooms up stares did not work! Ceiling fan in second bed room made so much noise we could not use it! Place was a little rundown. Could of bin a little cleaner. May be in about a year when every thing is open and more to do. We'll come back give it second chance. But will not stay where we did. Sorry :) Hershberger Family

Excellent Customer Service During COVID

This is not a review for this property, but the overall experience with renting with Kiawah. We'd originally rented this property, via VBRO, however it turned out it was still via Kiawah Island, not the owner directly. When we checked in we were informed that the previous renters had left the unit we'd rented in a condition where it required a more extensive cleaning. Since our unit did not meet Kiawah's COVID safety standards, or general cleanliness standards, they moved us to a different and nicer class of villa than the one we'd rented and honored our rate. Whenever you rent a condo/villa from a large resort like this it can feel like a bit a risk. Pictures don't always tell the full story for cleanliness and overall maintenance. I really appreciated Kiawah's attention to detail in ensuring that a basic overall standard was met for their rentals, especially during COVID. We had a such a great time that even though we'd planned to stay for a weekend, we wound staying nearly three weeks!
