Reasons to Book:
Private wooded retreat with two natural springs and a stocked catch-and-release pond. Outdoor living with hot tub, fire pit, games, and wraparound deck. Imagine a wooded oasis with two springs flowing into a pond, deer that visit daily, and a magnificent cabin at the center of it all. This may sound like an enchanted forest straight out of a fairytale, but it's real and waiting for you to discover it for yourself. Aptly called Secluded Springs, this unique property is a serene, private hideaway that surrounds you with nature's beauty. You can catch-and-release fish in the stocked pond (bamboo poles supplied), play horseshoes or bocce ball, relax in a rocker, porch swing, hot tub, the bench beside the pond or the Adirondack chairs surrounding the fire pit as you listen to the soothing sound of the flowing water.
You can take advantage of fun activities like hiking to waterfalls, horseback riding; kayaking and boating on Lake Blue Ridge or Lake Nottely; swimming at Morganton Point Recreation Area; whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River; visiting local wineries, Mercier Orchards, or the Chattahoochee National Forest; and exploring the shops and restaurants of downtown Blue Ridge, just 10 miles away.
Inside, the cedar cabin is spacious yet cozy, decorated in rustic meets modern style with ikat accents. The open plan main floor living area features a cathedral ceiling, a large leather sofa, wood-burning fireplace and a 56” TV with a Bluetooth soundbar. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare, cook and serve, with custom cabinetry, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances including an extra-large refrigerator with icemaker, an electric stove/oven, a crockpot and Keurig coffeemaker. The dining table seats six plus four at the island breakfast bar, one of several custom pieces made by a local woodworker.
In the downstairs game room, you'll find a table and a wet bar with sink, fridge and icemaker, a 56” TV with DVD/Blu-ray player and movies, a shuffleboard game, a Ms. Pac-Man arcade table with a 17” screen and eight games, an electric fireplace and plenty of comfy seating.
Outside on the wraparound deck, there are covered and uncovered seating areas with rockers, chairs, tables (two of the latter made by the owners with help from their three sons). You can fire up the gas grill and enjoy the sunshine and fresh mountain air.
The three bedrooms, one per floor, include a spacious master suite on the upper level with a log king bed, electric fireplace, walk-in closet, 46” TV, a coffee cart with coffeemaker, a private balcony with a table and two rocking chairs, and a private bath with tub/shower combo. The main floor bedroom has a queen log bed, 34” TV, and a computer workstation. There's another queen bed in the downstairs bedroom, and each have their own walk-in showers.
The cabin also provides guests with wireless internet, a washer/dryer, ceiling fans throughout, and a level playing area. Dogs are welcome, so feel free to bring your canine family members with you to enjoy everything this magical waterside retreat has to offer on your one-of-a-kind vacation.

We come to the Blue Ridge area at least twice a year. This cabin and property was the best we have stayed at yet! There was so much to do for the kids and dogs. The cabin’s beds were comfortable, the location was secluded, and overall it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy family time together! We can’t wait to go back!

Thank you for your review! We are glad you enjoyed your stay! We hope to host you again soon!
We had a lovely stay - lots of outdoor space for the kids to play and be loud without disturbing any neighbors (there aren't any!). The drive in is best taken by SUV - road is in good shape but it is still a mountain, gravel road. We had poor weather but found plenty to do in the house and on the property. Great stay, we look forward to coming back!

The booking and communication with the owner were easy. Questions were answered in a friendly and timely manner. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed the ability to comfortably visit, the beautiful view and the grounds. Thank you for making our trip memorable. The pictures do not do this property justice.

Property was advertised as being very secluded and that is just what we wanted. Cabin was as described and we did not see another vehicle or person the entire weekend. It was perfect! It is a little ways from town, but we brought everything we needed and had no desire to leave once we arrived. We will definitely rent this cabin again.

Great secluded cabin and my boys caught little fish in the pond and released them. If you have arachnophobia this is not the place for you. Spiders and webs all over.

Off the path
The cabin was nice and clean. A few things wish the listing said you had the drive a little over a mile on a gravel road that some parts are very narrow and steep. Would definitely recommend a truck or SUV. To me personally a car would have some issues most of the drive was 8-10 present grade and for about a 100 feet it was a 13 present grade. An although you couldn't see the neighbors you could definitely hear them and their dogs barking. An there is a lot of stairs.

Thank you for staying with us at Secluded Springs. We appreciate your assessment of the road leading to the cabin. Unfortunately, when you reserve a cabin in the mountains you will encounter steep grades to get to the home. In addition, when you are in the mountains, sound carries for long distances unlike in the city. When you visit us again, please feel free to reach out to Guest Services and we may be able to advise what the roads are like prior to making a reservation. Also, in the future, please review the photos online so you may see how many stairs there are, we try to put those items in our photos of the property. We trust you will come back and visit again.
House was clean and in a great location about 20 minutes from Blueridge.
Pond in the back of the property was great for the kids to fish, and poles were in working condition.
Property was maintained well. My only concern was that the house had several cameras that aimed directly at the hot tub and seems to include windows into the house in their field of view.
Power went out while there and there were no flashlights or emergency lighting - which was a bit awkward.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry your stay was stressful. Our cabin is meant to be a peaceful retreat, but we understand the seclusion isn’t for everyone. Storms and wildlife are part of the natural setting, but we’ll work on providing clearer checkout directions and emergency info. We appreciate your stay and your honest feedback!
We really wanted to love this. First off the toilets were disgusting. There was pee and pop in 2 out of the three toilet’s. It wouldn’t have been a problem if we had something to clean it with. I called property management to have them come out to clean it but they couldn’t come out til the next day so luckily my husband had his fishing gloves and there was a kitchen sponge. Someone left their laundry in the dryer. We really wanted to enjoy fishing but the pond was filled with little babies not even big enough to hook. Also apron arrival we couldn’t pull all the way in the drive way because a tree was down. There was another way to enter so we backed up and went another mile around to get in. We did enjoy the hot tub. I think maybe it was a management oversight on cleaning. They really needed to clean the outside pillows on the swing and rockers. I did more cleaning then anything when I first got there which is a bummer when you have to pay a cleaning fee.
