About this property

Breton farmhouse between Le Mont-St-Michel and Saint-Malo

Our large farmhouse of 230m² with swimming pool is designed to accommodate between 8 and 10 people.

It is located in the town of Hirel, 3 km from Dol de Bretagne and 4 km from the sea. This place is ideal for recharging your batteries in the calm of the countryside, not far from the sea (Emerald Coast and its magnificent beaches) and many tourist sites (Cancale, Dinan, Dinard, Saint Malo and its ramparts, Mont St Michel, about a hundred kms from the first landing beaches).

Inside, this house has a fully equipped American kitchen open to the dining room and the terrace. A living room with fireplace insert and English billiards will allow you to meet around a basket of Cancale oysters and a small drink after a beautiful walk in the Breton moor.

A bedroom with en-suite bathroom equipped with a whirlpool bath is located on the ground floor. Upstairs are three double bedrooms, two of which have en-suite bathrooms. An additional toilet is also located in the hallway.

Outside, you will benefit from a large terrace with garden furniture, dining table, barbecue and sunbeds.

Bed linen and towels are not provided.

The property is located in a great location for many beaches and towns. The swimming pool was needed in the heat we enjoyed. The kitchen well equipped and the hosts attentive.

La maison est agréable et située dans un environnement rural, mais certains éléments importants ne sont pas mentionnés dans l'annonce. Elle se trouve notamment au bord d'une départementale assez passante ainsi qu'à proximité immédiate d'une voie ferrée. La maison est également mitoyenne, ce qui peut avoir son importance pour les vacanciers recherchant calme et tranquillité.Les échanges avec les propriétaires se sont essentiellement faits par messages, avec des contacts assez impersonnels.Concernant les points positifs, les chambres et les salles de bains à l'étage sont très agréables. En revanche, la salle de bains du rez-de-chaussée manque un peu de praticité.Nous avons également constaté que la piscine n'était pas propre à notre arrivée et avons dû procéder nous-mêmes à son nettoyage.Enfin, les photos de présentation mériteraient, à notre avis, d'être actualisées afin de mieux correspondre à la réalité du logement et de son environnement.Dans l'ensemble, nous avons apprécié certains aspects de la maison, mais nous pensons que davantage de transparence dans l'annonce et un meilleur entretien de la piscine auraient amélioré notre séjour.
