We are just a short drive to Badge Pass Ski Area, Glacier Point, Mariposa Grove, and Yosemite Valley. We have a fully equipped kitchen, cozy bedrooms, nice bathrooms, covered garage, and Wifi (limited - not suitable for work).

Black Bear Lodge is a two-story house located in the small and quiet development of private residences called Yosemite West - The Heart of Yosemite. The home sits on a peaceful street surrounded by wilderness and beautiful walking areas.
The Lodge has been recently renovated. It has a two car enclosed garage with access to the interior of the house. An enclosed garage is a rare find within our community, a unique feature to our lodge, making access to your vehicle during the snow season an easy task. We also offer uncovered parking areas in the front and backyard.
1ST FLOOR
The entrance leads to a circular hallway where bedrooms and bathrooms are located.
Bedrooms
- Master Suite features a large bathroom, king-size bed, and large closet.
-Second bedroom has a queen size bed and twin bed with walk-in closet.
-Third bedroom has two twin beds.
Main bathroom is very large with a tub/shower and laundry facility.
2ND FLOOR
This floor is where the living room, fully equipped kitchen and dinning room are located.
The numerous windows offer beautiful views of the surrounding tress and nature. The lodge has an uncovered patio with furniture and barbecue grill.
Amenities: full kitchen, gas BBQ grill, coffee, hot cocoa, sugar, salt, garlic, oil, olive oil, basic spices, and paper goods, freshly laundered linen, soaps, shampoo, conditioner, and hair dryer are provided.
This property contains stairs leading from the enclosed garage to the entry of the home.
There are also stairs leading to the second floor in the interior or exterior of the home.
Please take this into consideration when carrying heavy luggage, a lot of groceries or if any member of your party has walking difficulties.

2 Covered Parking Spots and uncovered parking spots in the front/ backyard( access it through the side metal gates).
The Lodge couldn't be better situated - 30 minutes away from Yosemite's most popular attractions!
Yosemite Village = 17 miles (to the furthest point)--visitor center, restaurants, fast food, Yosemite museum, art gallery, bookstore, theater, grocery store, art center.
Glacier Point = 17 miles --spectacular vistas ... a must see! ... view 3,214 feet down into Yosemite Valley.
-Wawona = 14 miles --golf, restaurant, Pioneer history center, convenience store and gas station
-Mariposa Grove of Giant Redwoods = 20 miles --500 BIG trees (parking ... and head of hiking trail)
-Curry Village = 17 miles --restaurant, pizza deck, bicycle rentals, ice rink, and more
-Badger Pass Ski Area = 7 miles --skiing, cross-country skiing, ski lessons
-Tuolumne Meadows and Tioga Road = 65 miles --this is the high country ... scenic drive up to almost 10,000 ft elevation
-Hetch Hetchy Reservoir = 54 miles --great scenery and starting point for wilderness trails.

-QUIET HOURS: (10pm-7am)
-Minimum age required: Must be 25 years old to be the primary renter.
-This property cannot be reached via public transportation.
-Restaurants, grocery stores, and health care are located 30 minutes from property. Come prepared.
-NO standard A/C, the unit has ceiling fans in all bedrooms.
-This property has central heating ( the temperature will be controlled by our guests).
-Mostly *disconnected* : no broadband internet, no cable TV, and cell reception is unreliable in our neighborhood.
- Satellite WiFi - good for text messaging, emails and LIGHT web browsing - please be aware: this type of WiFi cannot be guaranteed as it may fail at times and it's beyond owners' control.
-Winter: * TIRE CHAINS* are required by the park during the winter months
(October though April), even if you have four-wheel drive.
Tioga Pass and Glacier Point Road are closed during winter due the snow.
