Very clean property with great views and a great location. Entire place is thoughtfully renovated and the perfect size for our group (6 adults and a 2 year old). This was our 2nd year in this home and we will definitely be back!

This is our 3rd family & friends' vacation stay at the Lifesaver in the last four years. The hosts are great to work with & the location and set up of the house are hard to beat. We love how well this house sets up for multiple generations staying in one location with the separate apartment in the lower level. We love how the great room and the covered porch are so close to the beach that it's like being on the beach when you are in the house, and the beach is just few steps away. The eating, kitchen and living areas that make up the great room easily accommodate large gatherings of 10 to 12 people. This place lives much bigger than its square footage because of its superb layout. Surf City, Topsail Beach and specifically the Lifesaver house has become a go to destination for us. A special treat this time was the full moon shining brightly over the ocean.

Emily was a great hostess. She laid out all the details of our stay and was able to accommodate an early check in! This house was amazing. All of the beach amenities were taking care of for your stay. Towels, toys, chairs and beautiful views every morning. We definitely will be there again!

Great house! Deck was only a few short steps to the beach- felt like being on the deck of a cruise ship! View from living area was the BEST! Very comfortable home with tons of amenities. Wound definitely recommend!!

Great place

Great location. Close enough to walk to town and restaurants, but far enough from the weekend crowds. House is immaculate. Everything you need is there for cooking, towels, beach games, etc. Inside and outside the house looks brand new. The covered porch is a great bonus for family gatherings.

Amazing Beach House and Host

I cant say enough good things about our stay at this house in Surf City. 5 star hotels dont have the level of care and attention that the hosts paid to this house. It is in great shape, has an amazing view, beautifully decorated, the list goes on. Out of all my stays in rental properties this was the best. I highly highly recommend this property.

This remodeled beach cottage is beautiful, comfortable, well equipped and lovingly attended by a family who has owned it for many years. The hosts are extremely responsive and it's clear they want you to have a great experience. We did and hope to do it again!

Awesome location

We have been coming to this property once a year for the last four years. The location and the property are both awesome. We have had numerous conversations with the owners. They have been exceedingly nice. I highly recommend this rental and plan on more rentals in the future.

Another amazing 2 weeks!

We love staying at Lifesaver! This is our third year and have already reserved for next year! Plenty of room for everyone and can’t get much closer to the beach. House is always clean and has everything we need. The first week was during hurricane Debbie and the owners checked in on us to make sure we were OK and gave us some very useful advice.

Fall Getaway

Beatiful location and property, everything was exactly as described. Very clean and had so many personal touches that made us feel right at home. The view is incredible because you can't get much closer to the ocean, its right off the deck. The beach itself was very clean, easily accessible and no crowds whatsoever. 2023 Family Camp

This house is so charming! They have thought of everything. Super easy to live in and off the beach. The porch is the main feature. We spent hours and hours watching the waves roll in and our family playing. The host is super responsive and so easy to deal with! Book this one quick. It won't last. We will be back.

This property is exceptional for several reasons - we are a family of 5, kids aged 8, 4 &2. Three bedrooms upstairs was perfect for us, and we had another family member in the downstairs apartment for 3 nights. The place is immaculate, clean, the perfect size for a no frills week at the beach. The kitchen and house has everything you could need to cook, play at the beach and relax. We were amazed that there were barely any people within 200 yards of us on the beach in either direction. But you are only about a mile from central Surf City, with plenty of restaurants, shops and ice cream stands to find plenty to do. The lifesaver has plenty of charm but is updated and accommodating. The host was wonderful in answering the few questions we had, and we greatly enjoyed out stay. Already considering going back!
