Wonderful Getaway!

Couldn't ask for a more peaceful setting yet close enough to enjoy all the Asheville area has to offer. Cabin was extremely well stocked and very clean. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch or by the fire after a day of sightseeing and hiking. Would rent again without question!!

Cozy cabin with everything you need

It was very clean and updated inside. The fireplace was easy to work and the cabin had everything we needed! the front door didn’t lock when we pushed the button, so we locked it from the inside and left through the back door (locked that too).

The cabin is minutes away from Ashville and endless adventures. The host has attention to detail so you have everything you need to make it feel like home. Comfy Cabin perfect for a Getaway!

My husband and I planned a last minute trip to Asheville and needed to bring along our pup. This cabin was very accommodating and clean! We really enjoyed the front porch, fire pit, and space between neighbors. The driveway is a decent hill that gets muddy during the rainy season so be sure you have the right vehicle. The furnishing was beautiful and fit the theme well! Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend this Home.

Suggest a step to get in the king bed and at least on shower bar for safety. I had to use the step ladder.

Perfect Thanksgiving in the country

My mother and sister and I stayed here with our two old dogs for Thanksgiving this year. It was absolutely perfect. Very quiet, lovely drive in, and cozy but with modern comforts. Being able to be with both of our dogs was a huge bonus for us and there was a large yard for them to run around in. There isn’t any cell service at the cabin (which we loved) but there is high speed internet and an Apple TV that we made good use of. We had one minor issue on our first night and not only did the Managment get back to us immediately, the owner actually drove from his home which is relatively far away on a holiday week to make sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed. Overall we will definitely be coming back!!

Rustic cabin within 30 minutes of Asheville NC

I found this listing that was in the area and the dates I needed. Applied and paid and received all necessary info via email. The property was beautiful and better than the pictures. We got in really late (about 1:30 am) and had no problems with the lock or code. I was afraid we would lose service for Google Maps but it held out and we found the place with little problems. Furnishings are nice and comfortable, appliances were ned and clean and worked perfectly. Trash was kind of an issue but we got it figured out. Lovely place! wouldn't mind visiting again!

Much needed relaxing week getaway!!!

My husband and I needed a quiet, relaxing vacation, and this was it! Out of the way, quiet, and trees surrounding property. The king bed was comfortable, you just may need step stool to get in it, we couldn't find it, but says there is 1. The only downfall, the toilet. Placed between the 2 walls the way it is, makes you feel a little claustrophobic. VERY TIGHT... Communication up until the day of arrival was great, but after that, not as good, so if you need something now, well you may have to continue texting, emailing or even call. We would definitely stay again, just because of how quiet & relaxing it was. Thank you

Couldn't Ask for More

We really enjoyed the cabin and were impressed with the little things that made our stay so nice: new appliances, well-appointed kitchen, Keurig, flashlights and even a first aid kit. We did not get to use the gas grill, and it was summer so no use of the gas fireplace, but it was nice that these are provided. The air conditioning kept us cool and the high-speed internet kept us connected. Cell service was spotty so there was a VOIP landline phone for our use. Washer and dryer allowed us to do all of our laundry before heading back home. As with all cabins in the woods, prepare for insects and local wildlife and you will do just fine. We highly recommend this property.

Communication with the host was very smooth. I enjoyed receiving my preparation emails that were very thorough. The house was clean and was very nicely set up. Definitely a good choice if you want a nice quiet getaway. Keep in mind that it is about a 10-15 minute drive from the main road to the cabin. Other than that, totally worth the stay and would visit again!

This cabin was a wonderful stay, but was not as private as I was expecting. It was still a great stay, and we did have a lot of privacy, i was just expecting "cant see your neighbors" kind of privacy. I still would recomend this cabin to anyone

Quaint house in a mountain neighborhood

Definitely well stocked, more than most VRBO houses I have stayed in. The house is located on a fairly large lot in a mountain neighborhood, where you can see three other houses from the front porch. There are outdoor cameras in the front and back of the house. I would have liked to know this prior to booking/arriving, because it took away the “private” feel of the place. The property manager requests you take your own trash with you at check out, or they charge per bag, or suggest a large tip for the cleaners to dispose of your trash. I wasn’t quite sure because the direct messages on VRBO and the welcome book at the house contradicted each other. A bit confusing, but we took our trash with us to avoid a charge. I suggest checking in during the daytime. We arrived at night and it would have been easier unloading the car and becoming familiar with the property if it was light out. Overall, it was a good stay. Enjoyed the gas fireplace and beds were comfortable.

Beautiful cabin in picturesque surroundings

This cozy cabin had everything needed for my stay to visit Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The internet service was good for calling and texting via wi-fi calling and watching Netflix on the TV in the main room. The drive up to the cabin wasn't steep and there was plenty of room to park and turn around. Plenty of linens were provided and anything needed in the kitchen and the bathroom. There was a washer/dryer and starter pods for washing, if needed. Grocery shopping and gasoline fill-up were just a short drive away. All around, this is a great place to stay for your visit in the mountains.
