Amazing luxury retreat for that special getaway! "Better Together" is cottage number 1 in Seaside, Florida and sits directly gulf front high on the sand dune with forever views. In 1998 Seaside town founder Mr. Robert Davis desired to have several low impact cottages built and set directly gulf front. The design inspiration was from the "honeymoon cottage" that Thomas Jefferson lived in while he built Monticello.

The cottage Better Together has just completed a gorgeous renovation. This is the the perfect Romantic Getaway Spot!

My husband and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary here last week. The cottage was perfect for us. We had privacy and a beautiful view of the ocean. Also a short, easy walk to the beach and to the Seaside downtown area. This “honeymoon cottage” was beautifully decorated, clean, and stocked with items needed during our stay. We will definitely come here again.

Unreal! From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we were in heaven! A PERFECT location with incredible views, convenient dining and GREAT sleep! We are suckers for a good mattress and we had eight blissful nights of sleep! Breakfast daily on the deck with ocean views and wine with dinner at Bud and Alley's (a five minute walk with an incredible menu). We had just the right amount of fridge space with everything you need to feel right at home. We cooked breakfast on a gas stove, had plenty of coffee options and a freezer that made plenty of ice for our daily Yeti needs at the beach. The balcony view was something we couldn't get enough of. Do yourself a favor and splurge on that ocean view. We are SO SAD to be gone BUT we are already planning another trip next year. Dean is a wonderful host!

Better Together is our favorite in Seaside. The house is beautifully decorated and designed. We always appreciate the cleanliness. It makes for a relaxing stay. The view on the porch overlooking the beach and gulf is breathtaking. A perfect place for morning coffee and evening wine. The host is the absolute best, checking in with us to make sure all was going well. We are looking forward to our next visit.
