About Sandra or Warren Bondi
In case you are wondering who we are, and where we are from, the next few tidbits should clue you in.Warren and I both grew up in the New Orleans metro area. We were childhood sweethearts and have been married for 32 years. We have one son Warren II, a beautiful daughter-in-law, and an adorable granddaughter that we just love to pieces. We were your average family just going about life until one historical day. On August 29, 2005 our lives were forever changed. Hurricane Katrina destroyed our community and our home. Our home was just eight months old when Katrina's waters ravaged its walls. We had eight feet of water for three weeks in our home. Our families being as close as we are, all were in the same surrounding area. We found ourselves in a very unfair predicament. No one had a home or belongings. We only had each other which later proved to be far better than any materialistic thing. We rebuilt our home and our families homes. You learn a lot about life when everything else is gone. The simple things mean so much more. You never take for granted whats here today. It just might not be there tomorrow. We can't get the old pictures back so we have to rely on our memory for those special times we shared. We have new pictures now and and new memories and a bigger appreciation for those special times.
Sandra or Warren Bondi purchased this Condo in 2009
Why Sandra or Warren Bondi chose Baytowne Wharf
Warren and I first stayed in Sanddestin the summer of 2006. We decided we needed to get out of town and bring our son and a friend who had also lost his home with us just to get the kids away from all of the destruction before they went back to school. We ended up in the Village because it was a last minute trip and the beach was all booked up. We had always gone to Destin but always stayed on the beach. Once we stayed in the Village we have never stayed on the beach again. It was New Orleans all over for us. Only without the destruction and the new construction going on at home. We fell in love with The village of Baytowne Wharf and vowed to each other once we got back on our feet we would have a place to call home in Sanddestin. We moved back in our house in June of 2007 and in February of 2009 we purchased our condo in Observation Point North. The Warrens and I LOVE Vacations. We love Destin, Cruising and just about any destination. Not much notice is needed and we are on our way.
What makes this Condo unique
Our condo gives us the best of both worlds. The balcony puts us right in the center of it all overlooking events plaza. The unit is also steps away from the pool. If we want the beach we can be there in a jiffy. We can sit outside and read a book. We have taken our condo and tried to give it a sense of New Orleans. We love our condo and we know our guest will too.

This was a perfect choice! The location could not have been better! It was beautifully furnished and super clean. We loved it!!
Unit was beautiful
Great weekend getaway!
We had a wonderful long weekend in Destin. The Baytowne Wharf was absolutely beautiful and the condo was perfect. We traveled with my parents who are in their 70s and my son who is 20. From walks around the village to dining in delicious restaurants, our trip was perfect. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Thank you , we hope you come back to stay with us . Sandie and Warren
Exactly as expected
Stayed here during our kids fall break so it was pretty quiet in Destin in general. We were afraid everywhere would be closed but very happy to find all the attractions and shops open and at night there was still a little life left in the area. Staying here was like being on a cruise minus the cramped quarters and motion sickness. We had planned to hit a grocery store like we always do when we rent a home but found there was no need! Condo was stocked enough to get us through the week and restaurants kept us fed. Only left resort by car 2x-Boat ride out of Destin Harbor and Gator Beach. Tram took us everywhere else we wanted to go and was so cool it picked up so close. Location of this condo really was perfect. Pool was also steps away and coffee and donuts just down stairs! Only comment and by no means a complaint, noise did definitely carry from street to condo. My kids slept through (except the concert in the square but it was over at a reasonable hour- 9pm) but light sleepers going to bed before 11 may not like the music and chatter which I can imagine being more so during peak season.
Thank You! We are glad you enjoyed your time with us.
Best Family Trip Yet!!!
We have never been down to the Emerald Coast and it exceeded all of our expectations. This property was a huge reason for our amazing trip. The location was key ... the Baytowne Wharf was incredible especially for our family. We have 3 girls (ages 7,9,11) and they LOVED all of the activities. The beach was so easy to get to and sooooo beautiful!!! The pool was great!! The condo itself was very clean and beautifully decorated with all of the essentials you will need. We will definitely come back!!! This condo had everything... location, pool, beach access, cleanliness, etc!!
Thank you Vanessa for your kind words. Hope to hear from you in the future. Warren & Sandie
Our condo is located in the heart of The Village of Baytowne Wharf. In the summer the village has a different event every night from water acrobatics in the lagoon to bands playing, movies on a huge outdoor screen and fireworks. Always something happening. In the winter the Ice rink makes its appearance and ice skaters of all ages can sharpen their blades and get out there. Also Halloween activities, Beer fest, Mardi Gras, and the list goes on and on. So don't miss out and book today.
