The Cocoonr Agency is pleased to present, in Clohars-Carnoët, Le Pouldu, this charming house dating from 1905, featuring an annexe and a large 30m² conservatory, less than a kilometre from the beach. It has a floor area of 200 m² and can accommodate up to 12 guests. It comprises lovely living areas, a fully fitted kitchen, six beautiful bedrooms, three shower rooms and an enclosed garden of approximately 1,400 m² facing south. Bed linen and towels are included. We’re just waiting for you!
The property is laid out as follows:
On the ground floor:
- A lovely living room with sofas where you can relax, opening onto a large 30 m² conservatory with a sitting area and a dining area
- A fully equipped kitchen including: electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, hob, fridge, freezer…
- A utility room
On the first floor:
- Bedroom 1: a queen-size bed (160×200), a desk and a bookcase.
- Bedroom 2: two single beds (80×200) that can be pushed together to form a double bed, and a large wardrobe.
- A bathroom with a walk-in shower (120×90), a washbasin and a toilet.
On the second floor:
- A landing with a desk
- Bedroom 3: a double bed (140×200), a desk and storage shelves.
- Bedroom 4: three single beds (90×200).
- A shower room with a shower (80×80) and a washbasin.
The annexe (on the left-hand/west side of the house, accessed via the kitchen door):
Ground floor:
- A TV room and reading room with a double sofa bed and a sink area separated by a counter. This room opens onto a small conservatory.
- A shower room with a shower (80×80), washbasin and toilet.
Upstairs:
- Bedroom 5 (north-facing): one double bed (140×200).
- Bedroom 6 (south-facing): a queen-size bed (160×200) and a chest of drawers.
For even greater comfort: washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron, a cot and a barbecue.
Outside:
- A lovely enclosed garden of around 1,400 m², facing due south, with garden furniture to enjoy the sunny days.
- A terrace at the front of the house on a gravel area of around 80 m² with garden furniture.
- An outdoor shower to rinse off the salt.
The house is ideally situated in Le Pouldu, Clohars-Carnoët, in a very pleasant setting. You’ll be close to essential shops, a few boutiques, restaurants, bars and a market (twice a week in summer)...
Activities:
- Numerous hikes and walks to admire the beautiful rocky coastline along the coastal path or the customs officers’ path, the ‘painters’ route’, walks along the River Laïta, inland or in the Carnoët Forest, and exploring part of the GR 34 on foot, by mountain bike or on horseback.
- Discover the fine sandy beaches, the sailing club, the surf school, canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding!
- Admire two charming little harbours: ‘Bas Pouldu’ and Doëlan, just a few kilometres away.
- At the Pouldu House Museum, explore the reconstruction of the beach bar where the painter Gauguin, amongst others, worked.
- Along the River Laïta: the ruins of the Cistercian Abbey of Saint-Maurice.
- Pont-Aven Museum (21 km), Eric Tabarly Sailing Centre (25 km).
- Tasting of local specialities: Belon oysters, Breton cakes, Kouign-Amann, crêpes and galettes, cider, farm produce, etc...
Transport:
- You can park directly at the garden entrance, just past the gate; there is space for up to two small vehicles, one behind the other.
- TBK bus route
- Nearest train stations: Quimperlé (15 minutes by car) and Lorient (25–30 minutes).
- Nearest airport: Lorient Bretagne Sud (25 minutes).

- Bed linen and towels included.
- End-of-stay cleaning includes preparing the accommodation for future guests. Please leave it in a reasonably clean condition and clean any kitchen appliances after use.
- Pets are not permitted in the accommodation.
- The accommodation is entirely non-smoking.
- Any request for arrival or departure outside the specified times is subject to the availability of the person in charge of check-in. A flat-rate supplement may be charged.
