About this property

Breathtaking views will win you over, but the retro Polynesian decor will make you feel right at home. Walk to the Ocean Point golf course, grill or beach access. Sit on the back porch and watch the kids play in the pool, start your morning with a cup of coffee and a fabulous Fripp sunrise. Four passenger golf cart is included.
Amenity cards are available for purchase. These must be used to access pools, tennis courts, restaurants, and the 2 championship golf courses. Amenity cards are $50/wk in the summer and $35/wk in the off-season.

A new 12.8% of the total rent resort fee will be charged in addition to the cost of the individual club cards for access to the resort amenities.

Weekend with the dolphins!

Although it was just two hours from Charleston, it was a great weekend getaway away that felt far further. The accommodations were awesome, the proximity to the water and being able to watch the Dolphins from the balcony was awesome. Definitely recommend!

Great Cottage and Host

Pam is an amazing host! She went above and beyond to make sure our stay at her cottage was perfect! We enjoyed our time there!! The homemade cookies were such a special treat when we arrived. Thank you for a wonderful vacation! 😊

A New Year’s Respite

Great communication from Pam the owner. A peaceful visit (except for the nearby revelers who celebrated until 3am) in a whimsical place.

Location Location Location

Property was clean, ready at arrival. Just across the street from Ocan Poont Grill, and the Golf Course. Short drive to the beach and pool entrance around the corner. Already booking our next 2 trips!!!

A Wonderful Place to Stay!

I honestly can't think of enough positive things to say about this place and our experience. I have found VRBO to be hit-or-miss, frankly, but this place hit it out of the park. The condo is Polynesian Disney themed, but it's very tasteful and the location is outstanding. Our hostess, Pam, ensured that we were well taken care of (amenity cards prompted provided) and cookies waiting for our arrival! The place was impeccably furnished with a well-stocked kitchen and beach items. The view from both porches was stunning and we loved watching the dolphins and brown pelicans entertain us every day we were there. Unlike some VRBO's we've rented in the past, it's clear that Pam is committed to making sure her guests are comfortable and have what they need. We had a wonderful experience all around, and we look forward to returning!

We are full time residents of Fripp Island and have 2 rentals. We have been on Fripp for 26 years, the last 8 as full-time residents. We would love to introduce Fripp to those who have never visited and welcome those back who share our love for this piece of paradise.
There is nothing better than making memories that will last forever...whether you are a youngest child or the awesome grandparents...Fripp is a generational vacation destination.

Why they chose this property

Ocean Cottage is our play on a retro Polynesian Resort. We are huge Disney enthusiast and our home resort is The Polynesian...I remember my first stay at The Polynesian in 1971...we have tried to bring that vibe to Ocean Cottage. There are several pieces that I picked up from the resort during their recent renovations. We hope that you enjoy the decor as much as I enjoyed doing it.
