This might be one of our top VRBO stays ever! This house had everything we needed and more for our family reunion. The kitchen was well-appointed. The entire house was very clean. The layout was so efficient as far as ease of stay. We were able to keep my 80 year old father on the main floor so he didn't have to worry about steps, other than when he left the house - just a few steps out the front door. The pool and deck set up is so user friendly. The access to the restaurants, walking, etc is so convenient. We had a super fast response on the only technology question we had during the entire stay. Highly recommend this beautiful home in Avila Beach!

This property was perfect! We had multiple generations of our family staying together. The home was incredibly spacious and with multiple levels the younger generation never bothered the older!! The outdoor space was perfect for entertaining and hanging out. The proximity to town was perfect and allowed everybody to walk just a few blocks for coffee and drinks.

Our family had an amazing time together staying at The Palmera. Kitchen was fully stocked and made cooking our meals easy. The furniture is high end and no details are overlooked. The pool was enjoyed by all of us, but especially the children. Absolutely the best location in Avila Beach. We walked around and rode bikes daily to enjoy the beautiful area of Avila Beach. The house is stocked with beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, etc which makes it easy to not have to pack/bring so many things. We have rented the Palmera in past years and can’t wait for the chance to return.

Our stay at Palmera was amazing. The house has everything you need and more. We stayed there with a couple families who we travel with often and unanimously agreed it exceeded our expectations. Very clean, quality furnishings, and comfortable beds for everyone. I recommend this house 1000%!

Avila Beach Family Week

Fantastic, immaculate, well managed property. A perfect location for our entire family of 9 to have our annual getaway. Our 12 year-old granddaughter summed it up when on the morning of departure she said: "This was the best vacation EVER!"

Vacation Getaway for Large Family

This is our second time having our annual family vacation at this beautiful house, and we can’t wait to do it again. House is gorgeous and perfect for families that need extra space and comforts, not to mention all the amenities. We throughly enjoyed the pool, spa, bbq, and being steps from the beach. Host is great, instructions are clear and check-in/check-out was a breeze. Highly recommend staying at the Avila Beach Palmera!

Exceeded expectations!

Our family had the best week together at Avila Palmera. The accommodations were perfect and the location can’t be beat. Everyone agreed there was plenty to enjoy, all within walking distance. We have already booked again for next summer. We all agreed this has to be a new family tradition.

FANTASTIC PLACE

Came with the family to celebrate a moms 86th bday. We had 13 people in the house. Great location, beautiful house, very responsive owners to any questions and well documented digital house guide, Highly recommended and hope to stay here again in the future.

Our multigenerational family group has been meeting up for summer trips across the country for the past 10 years. We might have to retire the tradition now, because we can never top the experience that we had at Palmera. This is a beautifully built and designed home that is stylishly and comfortably furnished and stocked with absolutely everything anyone could need. The king size beds were so comfy. Everyone loved having their own en suite bathrooms. We felt welcomed and so comfortable from check-in to check-out. Avila Beach, SLO and the neighboring wine regions offer so much to do, but it was sometimes hard to leave the gorgeous pool, hot tub, deck and kitchen. We took turns cooking and had everything we needed - including sharp knives! Outside of the beautiful accommodations and the fantastic weather, we loved the nature kayak tour with Avila Paddlesports (sea otters!!!), lunch at Mersea, walking/running the Bob Jones Trail, boogie boarding in the surf, Friday night live music and vendors at the beach, a pilgrimage to Austin Hope Winery plus shopping and dinner in Paso Robles as well as a spa day at Sycamore mineral springs resort. Thanks so much for an unforgettable week!

Best Weekend EVER!

Myself and 11 friends stayed for the week and didn't want to leave. The owners have thought of everything and nothing is lacking in this gorgeous home. Easy interface with smart home and directions were easy to ready and follow. Well worth a visit!

Family stay

We had a lovely intergenerational stay for a week at this beautiful house. Lots of room to spread out, easy beach access, beautiful and functional pool (really good with a little toddler - great shallow splashing end). There could be a few more amenities for kids - more plastic plates and bowls etc, but on the whole just a great place to stay. Hosts were wonderful to communicate with, and the location was fantastic. Beds were super comfy, plenty of towels and it was impeccably clean. We would absolutely come back again!

Excellent Family Getaway

Even with the rain we had the most amazing time at this property! We were still able to swim in the heated pool and hot tub and had the best views and location to amenities and activities. Also the house was fully stocked with games and kitchen items to cook and grill. We weathered the storm out in comfort for the entire family, ages 5 months to 75! We hope to book again!

Beautiful Beach Getaway

We just returned from a 5 day stay at this beautiful property. The location was perfect close to everything. The park was across the street, ocean was a block away and town was a 2 minute walk. The house itself was well appointed and the beds super comfortable. We especially appreciated the downstairs rec room which allowed for us to keep the early risers from waking up the whole house. This home definitely lived up to its description and we hope to return one day.

A magical getaway!

We stayed here while visiting for a wedding. The place was perfect. The kids loved the game room, pool and hot-tub. The adults loved the spending time on the deck-taking in the beautiful views. Everything was super clean, the kitchen was well stocked and we even received a thoughtful welcome basket on arrival. There was so much thought put in to ensuring the guests are comfortable. We plan to visit the area annually just to stay at this wonderful place. 5 stars for everything!

Amazing Beach Week!

We had such an amazing stay at Avila Beach Palmera!! The house is incredible! It holds everything in the listing and more! There were even additional fridges in the garage which helped us balance food and drinks for our large group of friends and family. It was the perfect place to celebrate our son’s graduation from Cal Poly, ideally located very close to the beach as well as easy driving distance to several vineyards for wine tasting! Everyone had an unforgettable and amazing week!
