Beachside-Home Away from Home- Oceanfront

Truly a Home Away From Home with the added pleasure of the beach. A most comfortable, fully furnished and equipped 3 bedroom-4 bath home with den and game room located directly on the ocean. Essentially a private beach, located in a 4 mile stretch of single family homes over a mile away from the nearest public access-Vehicular traffic limited to an occasional bike and a twice a day tour by the sea turtle nesting patrol or police on an ATV.

We enjoyed 8 years of vacation rentals here prior to purchasing the home in 1996. I am sure you too will want to return after your first stay as it is the 'Best Value on the Beach'.

A two story structure with stairway access to the second story. Big fenced grassy yard on the oceanside with new seawall and steps right down to the beach. A circular drive provides safe and easy access to the highway (A1A). The garage provides parking for a single car and contains a water softener, washer, dryer, freezer, gas grill and a second refrigerator.

The first floor includes two bedrooms (Queen Beds), two baths, breakfast bar (seats 2), dining area (seats 6), fully equipped kitchen, living room with ample seating, cable TV, CD/Radio and access to the oceanside deck and fenced yard. Each downstairs bedroom has a 32' flat screen tv. The living room has a 65' flat screen tv.

The second floor contains the Master Suite (King Bed, Walk-in Shower, Walk-In closet and Cable TV, 32' flat screen tv), Office (Desk, chair, printer, and a computer with Xfinity Internet access and a WI-FI router), Den (Seating for 6 and Cable TV, 40' flat screen tv) and Game Room (game table, wet bar and refrigerator as well as a collection of puzzles and board games. All include ceiling fans and access to screened porches on both the west (view of Guana Preserve) and ocean sides.

All guests staying at the home are required to sign a rental agreement and provide a valid form of ID. The primary reservation holder must provide a Government-Issued ID that matches the name on the rental agreement. This is a requirement from St Johns County.

Sea Turtle nesting season runs from May 1st through October 31st. Blinds must be closed at night and porch lights left off.
Dogs must be housebroken and on flea/tick preventative. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after your pet(s), indoors and out.

We and our pup had a wonderful stay. The property was clean easy to get to, and easy to get the on beach, it's literally right there six steps away. With the fenced yard there were no worries of our pup wandering off. The property is close enough to easily get to things, yet far enough away so that you're not in the middle of the masses. There isn't a public beach close by so you more or less have the beach to yourself. The sounds of the surf will lull your sences.Since the host are the owners, it has the feel of a home and not the vacant feel of one run by a property management company.

We had a wonderful time! The beach was steps away and the outdoor porches were great ways to start or end the day. Bonus was all the extra refrigerator/freezer space for our group. Loved it!

We had wonderful time. We have 2 boxers and they enjoyed it. I enjoyed it mostly because they were safe. The house is so dog friendly. The house so well stocked for your stay. The owner couldn't have been nicer. Nothing more relaxing than the beach. Our family and my best friend will always remember the beautiful beach walks.

Excellent Vacation

The house has been well maintained and the owners very personable and detail oriented about ensuring stay is pleasurable. The yard was perfect for the dog, and there was enough space for everyone to have privacy when needed. Will be reserving property again.

Family is everything

Property was spotless and had everything you need to make your stay perfect. My Brother his Wife , daughter came down and visited daily. Golfed couple days fished in the ocean, steps away and ate restaurants that were nearby. Will return next yearhooefully

Relaxing Oceanfront Property

Spacious, extremely clean, fully stocked. Completely fenced in yard, great for dogs and little children. Quiet beach right in front. Separate living spaces on each floor if you need them. Really great house and wonderful owners.

Wonderful home for our family trip

This property was perfect for our holiday trip with our adult children, their spouses and dogs. Having separate full bathrooms and spaces was very helpful. Everything we could need for our stay (towels, kitchen items, etc.) was provided. The view was absolutely amazing! The fenced in yard for our son and daughter-in-law’s dogs was the main reason we booked this property. Being able to enjoy the beach views from the patio while our dogs played was wonderful! We really enjoyed everything. Thanks so much!

Great home

My family and I stayed here at Christmas time and it was absolutely a beautiful place to stay. It’s right on the beach with its own access to the beach and my husband was out fishing every day. We walked the beach everyday and found some amazing sea shells. The fenced in back yard was great for both of my dogs. You can see the views of the beach from every room on the oceanside, my little dog loved watching outside every second of the day. The house had everything that you need. It was a great area and not far from St. Augustine! I would definitely recommend this home to stay.

Outstanding property!

We came across this property while deciding where to stay on our fall vacation. I can not express what a wonderful home this is! This home is the most well stocked our family has ever stayed in. Leave the beach chairs and towels at home, you will have plenty for any size family. The 2 decks give you the opportunity to sit in the sun or shade plus comfortably chairs sit in the grass for closer views. The owner/ host, George, answers every question you might have and have detailed notebooks for every need - from restaurants, shopping, tours and emergency information. George and Susan have thought of everything and it is obvious they enjoy sharing their beach home. We will return!!

Best location and house

Our stay was awesome from the beginning. The host met us there and took us on a tour which was awesome. The house is super clean and inviting. It has everything you need. Very well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The house it set up very well. There is an elevator that goes upstairs if you need it. The upstairs is like it’s on little apartment if you need separate living quarters or if you just want to spread out to have more privacy. The best thing though is the view. You can’t beat that view. Also, the fenced in back yard was perfect for our dogs. They enjoyed the stay too. It’s right on the beach. All you have to do is open the back gate and walk down a few steps and you are there. The location is also great. Only 20 minutes from Saint Augustine where there are plenty of restaurants and history to see. We will definitely stay at this property again. You just can’t beat it. Perfect location, perfect set up, pet safe, and awesome hosts. I miss it already and we are ready to book our next trip.

Fantastic Place ... Hope to Return Again

The photos don't do it justice. Wonderful pet friendly property. Owner George, was fantastic and you can tell takes enormous pride in maintaining and supplying this home with everything you could need. Super clean, and other than some extra pet supplies, you could never tell this is a pet friendly rental as everything was pristine, including the yard that was poop free. We had adult children working remotely on this trip and the extra space upstairs was perfect for them to log in and work with clients while enjoying a fantastic view of the ocean. Our husky loved the yard, and we loved the freedom and safety of the double gates and secure fencing. Again, this is by far one of the best rentals we ever stayed in. Thanks for a wonderful holiday family trip this Christmas. Hope to see you again in the future.

Excellent stay

The view was spectacular. Being able to open the gate and be at the beach is priceless. Our dogs were in heaven as they could run around the fenced yard and be outside safely while we were on the beach. Very responsive owners. They included everything you needed for man and pet. Highly recommend!!

Sister's Get Away

We've stayed at this property before, and had great experiences; so we decided to stay for 2 weeks this time. George welcomed us as always and it felt like we were coming home. This house provides so many amenities! They provide laundry products, kitchen basics, and bath products. Our dogs love the fenced in yard and tried without success to catch the pelicans as they few over! We love the back porches and the comfortable furniture. We spent the majority of our days there enjoying the amazing view of the ocean. St. Augustine is a wonderful city to explore and the area restaurants are excellent. I don't have enough words to express how much we love this home and what wonderful hosts Susan and George are. We had a couple of maintenance issues come up when we were there, but George handled them immediately so they caused no disruption to out trip. Can't wait to visit again!

We have stayed at several beach-front properties in the S. Ponte Vedra area over the past 6 years, and were delighted to land here this year! The house felt like home as soon as we walked in. It is lovingly decorated and very comfortable. The fenced-in immaculately kept yard facing the beach topped it off! The owners were very helpful and communicative.We are looking forward to staying again next year.

A beautiful home with a fantastic host

This house is wonderful for whatever getaway you need. The views are so calming, whether you're looking at the ocean, or to the Guana preserve. It's spacious, with comfortable furniture. Wifi is dependable, TV viewing has everything. The kitchen is fully equipped: you won't need to bring anything but your food. Perfect for a family, or for a girls/boys getaway. So relaxing! George is easily contacted if you have questions. I highly recommend this place for your oceanfront stay.

Perfect in every way, everything you needed was there, George met me and had the garage open for me to drive in with my dogs and unload. Weather cooperated and was beautiful. Hard to beat seeing the beach without a walk or drive, my dogs stayed in the yard till I had to bring them inside.

Great place for a quiet vacation with family and dog.

We love it here. Favorite place to stay. Already booked for next year. Great for our dog. We like a quiet time at the beach. Usually just 3 adults and the dog. A couple family members may drop in. We like the quiet. Close enough to city. House is perfect. Enough places to spread out. Like to cook with a view, well stocked kitchen. Plenty of deck with shade. Everything you need; lawn chairs, umbrellas, linens. Plenty of TVs, Football on one floor and movies on another. We get up early and watch the sunrise. Stay up late to get photographs of the stars, planets and moon. Very few people on the beach with no public access near. Owners are awesome. Answers any questions. Very friendly. Dog loves the fenced in yard with nice grass, does not track in sand. Chain link fence does not block the view. Life is good.
