The Compass South, The Travelers Stay Near TSU

A fully remodeled 1940s house with lots of charm and modern comfort.

The "Compass South", which is one of two units in The Compass, and is decorated with a travel theme using unique vintage travel memorabilia and souvenirs from our travels around the world.

You will enjoy a spacious bedroom, large bathroom, living room with sofa bed and a kitchenette complete with mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and some snacks, and fast internet.

This is one of two units in a house divided by a safe, solid, locked security door. You have your own private entrance and your own thermostat. The only time you might see guests from the other unit, is in the parking area.

A keypad entry and drive-up parking gives you quick and safe access to your private space.

We enjoyed our short stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. The decor is adorable and there was more than enough space for the two of us to spread out our things. The bathroom is large and the mini kitchen area was well stocked. The owner was prompt in her response and entry was easy. We will stay again when we are in the area!

This place was great. Plenty of room for two. Extremely clean. Old house charm with wood floors and the wood ceilings are beautiful. Antique furniture and fixtures mixed well with the updated pieces and the trunks. Loved the “explore the world” decor. Easy to get to any part of town. Bed is very comfortable. Large bathroom. Nice tub and shower. Very quite.

Comfortable stay

Great place, close to Tarleton university. We stayed in compass south, without the kitchen. Owner had everything one needed for a comfortable stay...snacks, small refrigerator, microwave. Separate sitting room with couch and chair. Bed was comfortable. Neighborhood was quiet except for the 3am train. Definitely would stay here again

We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay! That crazy train! It runs diagonally through Stephenville so its hard to stay anywhere and not hear it. We do provide a box fan for white noise. We would love to host you again, so if that happens, try the fan. It works wonders!
