La Bastide - Heart of port - Sea view

La Bastide de Saint-Martin, located on the Île de Ré, in the emblematic village of Saint-Martin-de-Ré, is an exceptional place in many respects. Its location, on the islet, places it at the heart of the mythical port of the commune fortified by Vauban.



This shipowner's house, spread over three storeys, has 6 bedrooms, accommodating up to 11 travellers, 5 bathrooms, including one entirely decorated with shells by the renowned architect Jacques Garcia, a fully equipped kitchen, and 2 lounges, one of which, on the top floor, offers breathtaking views over the harbour and the ocean.



Outside, the Bastide has a large west-facing terrace where you can enjoy sunny moments of relaxation, as well as a beautifully tree-lined garden which offers, the height of luxury, the only bathing spot on the islet: a heated swimming spa of 3.50m.

Finally, a shower room for after the beach or after the spa completes this charming garden. It is topped with a roof terrace allowing you to enjoy, in particular, the sunset over the harbour.
