Amazing beach retreat great for family fun and relaxing at the bar by the pool

Welcome to FAMILY TIDES!! we want to invite you to enjoy our 5 bedroom, 5 and 1/2 bath home.
It was designed with families in mind and is less than a 1 minute walk to the beach access. We’re sure you and your family will make wonderful memories here.

This is a reverse floor plan with an elevator to all floors. The entry level has 2 queen bedrooms and a bunk room with triple bunks! Yes, that's correct (check out the pictures) sleeps 6. Each bedroom has an attached bathroom. All bedrooms have TV's.
Also, on this level is a seating area with TV and a combination pool and air hockey table. Off the sitting area is a porch/balcony overlooking the pool area.

On the main or upper level you will find a beautifully designed great room with kitchen, dining and large seating area. Also on this level is a queen bedroom and a king bedroom. The upper deck overlooks the pool area and has the stairway to the crow’s nest. The views from the crow’s nest of ocean and marsh are amazing. Sunrise from the crow’s nest is beautiful!

Not in the beach mood? No worries! Enjoy our outdoor oasis - lounge in the sun, play in the pool and enjoy a cold beverage at the Tiki Bar all while watching TV. POOL HEATER JUST INSTALLED! There is an extra charge of $70 per day for pool heater.

Beautiful home, with an excellent proximity to the beach. The pool is shaded in the afternoon, so if you are getting too hot at the beach, you can cool off in the pool. The kitchen has all of the supplies you could need. Really appreciated the tour with Gina at check-in.

Perfect house for family of 14

My family consisting of 8 adults and 6 kids spent a week at Family Tides and a had great time. We loved the location and the huge pool was a hit with everyone. The kids especially loved the triple bunks and the second living room for playing their video games and watching tv. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. Gina, the property manager, is quick to respond to any concerns. This is definitely a house on our list to stay at again.

The most perfect spot!

This house was absolutely perfect for our family stay in July! The location is ideal, as it's within steps (seriously, less than 2-3 mins) of a public beach access and on a quieter part of the island. The pool is the best in the morning (sunny) and beach in the afternoon. Check in was super simple, and the rooms are all situated well across the house. So grateful for this beautiful home that made for the best family memories!

Mini Family Vacation

This was our first family vacation since our kids have had kids and wasn’t centered around racing. The house is absolutely beautiful! The weather had turned a little cooler so we weren’t able to use the pool like we would have. We hope to go back later this year and would love to stay here. Thank you for letting us stay!

Fun family time

Enjoyed everything associated with the property. Very short walk to beach, very quiet, very comfortable and very clean. Pool water a bit cool, but that didn’t stop us, and especially my six year old granddaughter, from using it. Hope to come back again in the future when more of the family can join us. Thanks for the use of your lovely home.

We had a great time in this home! Everything was immaculately clean and well taken care of. Check-in was smooth and seamless! We could have not asked for a better home to spend our annual family beach trip! There are 14 of us and we had plenty of space to go around. We loved the two sitting areas and the guys really enjoyed all the games downstairs! My mom cannot climb stairs, so the elevator came in really handy! It really was a lifesaver! The pool area was gorgeous! Many memories were made in the pool and at the tiki bar! This is definitely one of the greatest homes we have ever stayed in in the 40 years we have been coming to Holden Beach! Thank you for sharing your home!

Best beach week ever!

What a wonderful week we had at this beautiful beach home! So pretty and comfortable with everything we could want/need for our week at Holden Beach! Perfect accommodations for our family of 12, 8 adults and 4 young children. Five bedrooms, each with it’s own bathroom was great and the grandkids loved the bunk room! Swimming pool was just lovely and the elevator quite handy for unloading and for tired grandparents after a day at the beach! Location was amazing with a very short walk to the beach access. Access had no stairs to navigate which was great! Beach chairs, tents, wagons, boogie boards, beach toys and pool floats so nice to have access to! This home is decorated absolutely gorgeously and is so well equipped - you will love it! We would highly recommend staying here for your Holden Beach vacation! Perfect Spot

Everyone in our group loved the location on the island. It is located on the far end which means less traffic. Easy access to the beach and no stairs on the boardwalk to the beach. The home was immaculate, the beds comfortable and the pool was very clean. The checkin process is not a self-enter door code. Gina, who is excellent btw, needs to great you. The door code does not work and you have to use keys. It makes it cumbersome to keep up with 3 sets of keys. Also the pool area does not have a toilet. Entry to the house is via up steps and thru the front door. There is only one exit door at the front of the house. I find that dangerous in case of a fire or emergency. These are only suggestions. We had a great stay here.

We are very sorry about the keyless entry on upper door not working while these guest where here. It was damaged by the excessive heat but has been replaced. The keyless entry on the elevator was working fine. Bathrooms are not allowed in lower levels at HB per code. However there is a shower at the pool and there are 5.5 bathrooms in the house easily accessible by the elevator which is about 12 feet from the pool gate. These were great guest and we would welcome them back

Enjoyable week.

The property was wonderful. The beach was great. The weather was comfortable. We all had a good time. The only issue was that I had trouble getting into the elevator in my motorized wheelchair. It has a 2+ inch step on the ground level. So we had to fashion a do-it-yourself ramp to get it to work with the wheelchair.

Family vacation at Holden Beach

This was our very first time at Holden Beach after vacationing up and down the Atlantic Coast and one visit to Destin Beach, Florida. We thoroughly enjoyed the area. The house was a coupe of years old but very well kept. The amenities were all on the plus side from the kitchen utensils and appliances to the super clean pool. The bedrooms and connecting bathrooms were pleasantly suitable to our needs. We would recommend this home to anyone with a family.

Beautiful home and perfect location

Beautiful property and beautifully maintained! We would definitely stay there again! Property manager was wonderful and she responded to our every question and need. We had some ice machine and refrigerator ice maker issues but they responded quickly and sent extra ice for us as well as repaired the refrigerator problem. Only other issue was she had to come personally to let us in and we had to wait quite a while past the check in time, in high 90 degree heat, for her to get there due to an accident blocking traffic. The owner won’t allow the door code to be given out in advance. They are very particular and want the property manager to personally meet and show each guest around the home, as well as go over everything. While that is greatly appreciated, after a long trip with everyone super tired, especially the children needing to use a restroom, it was difficult. This is the first property I’ve rented with a policy of not sending the code in advance. Otherwise, we loved it!!

Fantastic stay

Everything our group of 12 needed was there, no need to bring cooking utensils, extra blankets, etc. Very well stocked and comfortable house, everything is brand new and in pristine condition. Every question were had was priority addressed. Thank you Family Tides!!

Amazing time with extended family

We came here with my extended family from Nebraska. We had 6 kids (1, 3, 5, 6, and 15) and my elderly grandmother. The location and the accommodations were perfect! The beach access doesn’t have stairs which was perfect for the kids and for my grandmothers beach wheelchair )which we rented). The pool was great for an afternoon swim. Better yet, tents, beach chairs and sand toys were all included. We’ve been coming to Holden for more than a decade and this place checks all the marks! Not to mention happy hour on the crows nest with fireworks on the fourth was amazing. Highly recommend.

When we started looking for a beach vacation home, we searched both the North and South Carolina coastlines for a family-friendly beach. We wanted a quiet place in which to spend time with our children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Our search ended when we found Holden Beach. It immediately captured our hearts and we knew it was the perfect place to make memories with family and friends.
