About this property

Steps to Lifts - Heated Pool Resort 2-Br, 2-Bth

Sweetwater Lift Lodge is a Resort at the base of Park City Mountain. Ownership is sold in intervals and units are Fri-Fri or Sat-Sat. It has a living room with fireplace, full kitchen and dining table, 2-brs (both Queens) and 2 baths.

The resort has a heated enclosed pool, sauna and 15-person hot-tub. There is a game room with billiard table, ping pong and air hockey. Family movie nights in the rec room, and apres-ski wine/cheese and margarita nights for the adults. There are 2 outdoor grills for community use. Front desk is staffed 24/7. The lobby is recently renovated (the included pictures are dated, but more representative of the age of the rooms, so I keep the old lobby pictures posted. New lobby is beautiful)

While the resort has been moderately renovated, the rooms are still a bit dated. However, the beds are comfortable and the resort management does a great job keeping the place clean and tidy. The best part is the location. The lifts are a 2-3-min walk from the room in ski boots and all different levels of terrain are accessible from the base of Park City Mountain. There are a couple family restaurants and apres-ski bars at the base village. When we want to explore Old Town with all the shops, restaurants and nightlife, then it is a short 10-min walk away and a $15 taxi ride back home.

A credit card is required at check-in for ID and damages.

Why they chose this property

9-years ago I stayed at the Lift Lodge Resort for the 1st time, and instantly fell in love with its location and charm. It's a resort with 1980s/1990s vibe, but it is clean and perfectly located, close enough to the mountain to come home for lunch between runs. While it has 24/7 front desk, it's small enough that all the staff know me by name and it feels like a community rather than a nameless branded property. It is a timeshare resort without the classic Timeshare Pitch. The sales office was closed ages ago and now owners just sell to one another or to happy guests who make an effort to source one for themselves.

What makes this property unique

Location, location, location. Perfect balance between being on the mountain and 10-min walk to Old Town.
