This was a lovely home. The check-in process was exceptionally easy. My group stayed in this home for a wedding, and it was a great launching pad to explore everything Homer had to offer by car.
Beautiful home with a great view. Perfect home for weekend getaway or extended stay. Very well maintained with lots of room to stretch out. Short drive to Safeway, Ulmer’s, and the spit. Would absolutely stay here again!!
Upstairs bathroom toilet was tiny, vanity was pretty low , no bathroom fan , would like to see a fire pit outside, all in all we would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay at the Sheep Drive House. Located above Homer, the property felt secluded and was great for what our group needed. We even had a surprise guest, a mama moose and her calf who came to visit several times. We were able to watch them through the windows. We will definitely be back!
The view of St Augustine volcano was beautiful. We did not see the mama & baby moose as some people were able to see. Saw 2 sizeable rabbits in the yard every day. Plenty of room for the 4 of us even though it sleeps 8. Great stay! Would look up to stay there again on our next trip to Homer.
The location was great. House was very nice and the views were excellent. 8 family and friends stayed and there was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. Check in was simple. No issues to report. Thank you for a wonderful experience
We come to Homer every June for halibut fishing. We always need a place to park our boat and this was great. It is a little ways from the harbor up the steep bluff but it worked perfectly. Super clean room for three couples to stay comfortably
Such a beautiful home and amazing location. Our party of 8 was extremely comfortable and made our post wedding dinner special. Wonderful views and our dogs loved the open property!
We did our first look with our wedding photographer in front of the garden and will always be apart of our special memories!
Leslie was a great host and I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay in Homer.
Nice location- easy trip into Homer spit.
Clean, easy communication with owner, easy check-in and check-out process.
Main reason for 4 star is I believe bed upstairs in master is not queen and not in great shape- full?
Couch, love seat good shape in living room, other chair- poor condition. Needs upgraded.
Our family had a lovely stay at Leslie's home in Homer. The kitchen was well-appointed and the home was private, surrounded by trees and visited in the morning and evening by a bunny. Leslie was extremely responsive. A few things to note so you're not surprised - two beds were futons (one short), there's no kitchen/dining table to eat at besides room for 4 at bar stools around an island, and one of the bedrooms is a nook separated from the main room with a screen rather than a door. Thank you, Leslie!
Very comfortable and clean home lots of privacy, the ping pong table was a blast! we had tournaments!
We barely slept, it was daylight 20 hours a day. Wild life outside we were blessed with a mama moose and her two babies💕 that frequent through the yard! Babies chasing each other. Bunnies galores and magpies. We ate fish we freshly caught. The home felt like my home but much more exciting things outside. I enjoyed Very very much meeting Lesley the owner, she was perfect!!!
Don't get me wrong, this is a very nice place to stay. Extremely clean, I've stayed in five star hotels that were not as spotless.
There were a couple of things that are easily changed that would make a great deal of difference. Replace the mattresses in the bedrooms and the oversized chair in the living area, they have served the home well.
Our group was comprised of four big men and the showers in the bath rooms were very cramped and the toilets are not made for big men.
The Property Manager was prompt with communication replies.
Given the items detailed above, two of us would stay there again and two would not
Loved the location of the property. The iron in the water was a little off putting but we brought extra water for the boat so that was fine. We had a great stay, cooked cod on the barbecue grill. The only thing was the dining; sleeps 8 but only 4 can eat at the peninsula at a time.
Very comfortable, well equipped property. Close to town for shopping and restaurants.
We saw several moose and even had mommy moose and two babies hang out in yard one morning.
