The property is located two blocks from the parade route for Mardi Gras and 5 minutes from the New Orleans Superdome. Also, a newly constructed brick patio for outdoor BBQ or Grill fun. The patio is 700 sq. ft. with outdoor furniture.
New Orleans city center is very walkable, but there are a few other ways to get from one place to another. Here are a few that I recommend:
Streetcar: The St. Charles Streetcar line is just 2 blocks from the house and can take you to the French Quarter or in the other direction throughout the Garden District and further Uptown. The streetcar is $1.25 per person (exact change required.) You may also purchase a day pass which is $3.00 per person all you can ride. The street trolly operates 24 hours.
UBER / Lyft: Uber and Lyft are both great services in New Orleans. The city is geographically small, so fares are typically very affordable.
Blue Bikes: New Orleans has recently launched the bike share program, Blue Bikes. There are over 70 Blue Bike stations located around the city which makes riding from one area of the city to another very convenient. The bikes costs $0.13/minute and are prorated to the minute so you are only charged for riding time.

The remodeled home was cute, roomy, clean, and within walking distance of the St Charles streetcar line. It was perfect for our family stay. The host was awesome, even accommodated a late check-out request due to a late flight. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful trip to NOLa! The house was just perfect for our group of 4 women. Location location location! French Quarter festival is a great weekend to goThank you for sharing your home with us
The house and host were both perfect for our needs. We had a wonderful time visiting The Big Easy, listening to great music, eating fantastic food, and viewing parades just a couple blocks from the house. Would happily stay here again!
Our family stayed in this wonderful house for our son’s destination wedding. It was centrally located and had all the amenities we needed. Michele, couldn’t have been more helpful. She helped make our weekend go as smoothly as possible.
Came down to Nola for a long weekend with 2 other buddies. This location was great for being a good walk to most attractions, bars and restaurants, but not in the middle of party town. The house itself was very clean and comfortable. Would recommend for a group of friends or couples who are looking for a quiet spot that’s still close to the action. We would definitely stay here again.
This was a great stay for us - travelling for a wedding and bringing my 90-year old father. He stayed in the ground floor bedroom and had his own bathroom. Everyone else stayed upstairs and it worked out really well. The house is well-equipped for large groups and very clean. The check-in process was super easy and the hosts accommodated our late check-in/check-out requests.
What an amazing place. We loved staying here. It was a great house and it was so clean. It had everything we needed for our stay and stocked with supplies.
Loved the property. Listing was 100% accurate. Owner was excellent communicator during the whole process. Plenty of room for all guests. Very convenient location. Highly recommend this property.
Thank you Craig for the prompt response always and making our stay very comfortable. I will highly recommend your place to our friends & family for sure!
We reserved this home for a family wedding, and it was perfect for our needs. Although we spent most of the weekend at wedding events, the time we did spend at the house was exactly what we needed. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the upstairs porch and outdoor seating areas. The home comfortably accommodated three couples and two teenagers, with one teen sleeping on the pull-out couch—more of a leather futon than a traditional pull-out, and it worked perfectly.Communication with the property manager was excellent—she was warm, friendly, and went out of her way to assist us. The location was ideal, within walking distance of St. Charles Avenue for easy access to the streetcar and about half a mile from Commander’s Palace, which was a must-visit. We felt completely at home in this lovely, well-appointed house. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Perfect amount of space for 4 couples to enjoy. It was conveniently located next to great food, shops, tours, WWII museum and anything else you can think of.
We really enjoyed our stay, The location was very convenient to bars and restaurants, we walked to Magazine and most of what we wanted to do. This large property met all of our needs for 5 adults and one baby.
