This is a residential neighborhood, but there is a great coffee shop, Hey Cafe, about 3 blocks away. There is a section of Freret Street 1/2 a mile (15 min walk) that has many bars, restaurants, cafes, music venues. It is one of the hippest areas of the city. You can walk to the St Charles Avenue streetcar line (just over one mile) and ride the street car through the garden district to the French Quarter for about $2

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean and we liked walking the neighborhood. The pool was great although we were hoping for it to be a bit warmer but it worked for the small amount of time we had to spend in the pool. We were mostly exploring and experiencing NOLA and its history. We would definitely stay here again.

The home was so thoughtfully setup and perfect for our group of 5. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. The house was perfect for our group. It is beautifully decorated, comfortable, well stocked with everything we needed. It has a wonderful porch to hang out on and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. The check in/out process was super easy and communication with the owner was excellent. We enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again on our next trip to NOLA!
