Located in an established neighborhood amongst other renovated historical cottages. Walk to the library, parks and to Lake Dora at sunset. Built in 1932, this inviting 2 bedroom 1 bath home has been recently renovated. The kitchen is fully equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and stove.

Host is quick to reply. Very clean and ac is very comfortable. Property is an awesome location to downtown close enough to enjoy downtown but just a few blocks away to enjoy some quiet. This was our 2nd stay and intend for future visits.

Our first time in mount dora was wonderful! We highly recommend The Mermaid House. It is close to downtown shopping and restaurants. The house itself is so charming with the wood floors and old time charm. Will definitely stay here again.

The mermaid house was fantastic. It was everything that we were looking for, and a short walk to downtown Mount Dora. It has everything you need. Steve was very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend staying here!

First Time in Mt. Dora

We are both graduates from the University of Central Florida and have three great kids. We work hard and play hard and this cabin/bungalow are the most relaxing places we know. We get to visit several times a year and enjoy snowboarding, fishing and just relaxing.
Steve Perez purchased this Cabin in 2004 and the Mt Dora Cozy Bungalow in 2020 along with The Conch house, Mermaid Cottage, Tiki Hut and Pink House.
