About this property
Blinkbonnie Cottage, a place of tranquillity & beauty in a country setting.
Blinkbonnie Cottage is set in beautiful forest covered countryside on the Glen Ogle and Leskin Estate, within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The cottage faces directly south, so the garden is a sun trap which overlooks a small lochan and is a haven for wildlife, with woodlands & hills beyond. Blinkbonnie has had a major upgrade within the last three years & we will continue to make improvements to provide comfortable & enjoyable accommadation and facilities for our guests. The accommodation comprises of a good sized living/dining room, including a wood burner if the weather turns cold. There are french doors opening out to the rear garden and lead to a lochan with forests beyond. The internal hall leads to the newly fitted shower room and the two bedrooms, one including a king sized bed & the other with twin beds. A new kitcken was installed last year with all new utilities provided. The panoramic views from the bedrooms take in the local forests and hills. Whilst the cottage is in a rural setting, it is only a five minute drive to the village of Killin which is home to the famous Falls of Dochart, at the western end of Loch Tay. The village has various eating places; gift shops and a very well stocked modern COOP for all your needs. The village of Lochearnhead, a 10 minute drive away where all forms of water sports and fishing are available. We have two golf courses within 20 minutes and many more a little further away. It is also is an ideal base for walkers & cyclists with many cycle routes and footpaths locally to try and explore. If you are looking for a cosy country cottage holiday to explore a beautiful area of Scotland, then Blinkbonnie Cottage is waiting for you.

Beautiful setting, in woodlands beside a small lochan. Peaceful, but close to nearby Killin, which is a great highlands village with all necessary shops. Cottage was warm and welcoming and well equipped. Wood burning stove a really nice touch. Very well located for walks, climbing and general sightseeing.
Absolutely perfect cottage - we didn't want to leave! There was a lovely welcone pack, and everything we could have needed for a comfy stay.Would highly recommend Blinkbonnie.

The property was in an ideal location for visiting Loch Lomond & the surrounding area. Great for local walks in and around Killen. The property was in a peaceful and quiet area.
Thank you very much for your kind words about the cottage, we do really appreciate it ! There was a Pokémon card left in the cottage ? Kind regards, Neill and Paula.
Lovely property in a beautiful location. Ideally positioned for visiting many interesting places or maybe just stay and relax in garden admiring the wildlife that comes and goes. On our arrival we even had deer across the Lochan! The cottage had everything that you would need and the beds are very comfortable. It was spotlessly clean and our stay was very enjoyable - we’re even thinking about going back later in the year!
What a find!!! Great little place, quiet, very clean and cosy. Nicely decorated. Lovely views and we had red deer in and around the property every day. Mallards in the pond. Killin is just round the corner for pubs and provisions. Can't find a better place in the Trossachs and I have been to a few.

What a beautiful property! My husband, myself & our two young children had a wonderful holiday at this cottage recently. The house was spotless & was in a great location for family days out. Why they chose this property
We were looking to buy a property to rent out as a holday home and as soon as we saw Blinkbonnie Cottage advertised we had to buy it. When we went to view the property, we could see it's potential and successfully negotiated the purchase. Every room has been modernised wiith ongoing improvements being carried out. The most recent project is fitting a new kitchen to make it brighter & allows more storage space. The setting is second to none, the views are outstanding and picturesque. The cottage is set within Scotland's first official National Park and is situated in such a convenient central part of Scotland for guests to enjoy visiting lots of beautiful villages, towns and landmarks without having to travel very far.
What makes this property unique
The views from the living room at the back of the cottage are stunning, looking down the large lawn towards a lochan. The rear garden faces due south, so is a sun trap. You can sit and just watch the wildlife come and go, ducks are frequent visitors along with cormorants. Beyond are woodlands where deer run free and a pine martin has even been spotted !!
