Fun stay on Lake Chatuge

Awesome views!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very clean, had nice furniture, entertainment ( ping pong table, games, puzzles, kayaks, and SUPs—-kayaks could use new handles to grasp the boats). There is a nice hot tub although we didn’t use it. The views are just as incredible as the online photos! Make sure you’re good with stairs as there are a LOT to get down to the dock. Would love to stay here again sometime.

Beautiful lake house with the views!!!

We've enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lake house. The house has to offer amazing views of the lake and the mountains, water activities - swimming, kayaking paddleboarding. It got down to 60s at night and having jacuzzi was really great. A few notes to property management: inside the house was nice and clean, the outside would benefit from cleaning (wash windows, remove spider web, etc) , some outside light along the stairs to the dock weren't working. Also, this is just a nice to have request - coffee machine that uses k-cups 🙂 Overall, beautiful property with an amazing view!!! We loved our stay ❤️ 💜 ♥️

Waterfront with a dock!

This was our second vacation to the area and we love Lake Chatuge. We decided that this time we wanted to be on the water and this home definitely fulfilled that need for us. The home has a beautiful view of the lake and mountains from almost every part of the property. Also nice is that the bedrooms are on separate levels of the house so everyone had their own space when needed. The basement had several games (ping pong, foosball, board games, etc) for plenty of options for activities after a long day on the lake. The hot tub was very relaxing as well. If you're looking for a home that is good for boating, this home works great for that as well. We rent from Boundary Waters and by car they are very close (about 10 minutes) and only about a 15 minute ride by boat. The cove this home sits on makes getting in and out of your personal dock a breeze. Added to this, the owners have plenty of water toys for guests to use (paddle board, kayaks, etc.) The only negative if you want to call it that, are the 98 steps from the dock to the main level of the home (literally 98 steps, yes I counted) so people with physical limitations will need to keep this in mind when picking this property. The trade off for the steps is the wonderful view, so we were fine with the climb lol. The property owners were very quick to respond anytime we needed to reach out, so I would happily stay here again in the future.
