Welcome to the Pecan River House. A perfect Hill Country getaway with something for everyone. Watch the sunset behind the valley of a working cattle ranch after a long day on the water. Sit by the 48" fire pit and relax and let the kids enjoy the game room in the backyard. Or join a friend in the bar. We have created an escape that is sure to please the whole family. In town to enjoy Canyon Lake or the Guadalupe River? We’re minutes from all your river and lake recreation needs. Gotta boat? Bring it! We’ve got parking for your boat trailer. We’re less than a 10 minute drive to boat ramp #1 on Canyon Lake. Located 0.3 miles from the 4th crossing on the Guadalupe river, 3 miles from Canyon Lake and 2.3 mile from Whitewater and the famous Horseshoe on the Guadalupe River. For those rainy days and people that want a quiet day back at the house we have board games and a Wii game console. Or take in the view and listen to the rain under the covered patio in the backyard. Inside you can catch a movie on any one of the Smart TVs we have in every room. Whether you want an action packed weekend on the water or a quiet weekend in the Hill Country we’ve got you covered.

Loves the view

Nice house with a great view. It was so green and pretty while we were these and we loved watching the cows in the pasture. They came right up to the fence in the evenings. The house was a good home base for the Canyon Lake area. Thank you!

Annual Friends River Float Trip

We had 8 of us in the house. All slept comfortable. AC was amazing. Interior was all updated and had enough dishes for all of us. Very cool property with the patio, fire ring, and outside bar. Very close to the river with easy access to groceries and river floats.

Great location!!

My family had the best time. The property was very conveniently located close to the horseshoe loop on the Guadalupe river. We also really enjoyed the beautiful view from the back porch and the visit from the heard of cattle each evening. We hope to return to catch a concert at the Whitewater amphitheater.

Peaceful and serene

We were dazzled by the beautiful view of the prairie and visits from deer and cattle grazing. Property was stocked with outdoor games to keep the tweens entertained and busy. The overall decor of the home was very welcoming and peaceful. We hope to visit again soon!

Fantastic place!

We came in from Katy to stay here with our in-laws from NY to show them around town. Location was great to the river! House is as exactly as shown and great for both the adults and teens. Will stay here again.

Awesome spot

Had a great stay, did some tubing and saw concert at Whitewater Amphitheater (just down the street). Place was really cool, lots of fun games, very clean, modern, and comfortable. Host was great with communication. Highly recommend.

AMAZING stay!!

The property owners were very easy and friendly to communicate with! The house, bar, game room and view were all beautiful and even better than the pictures. House was also super close to the river so it made it easy to go float. Would definitely stay here again!
