I absolutely love this place and the history of it.. it was a very beautiful location and the host was very nice my family and i enjoyed our stay and will be back to stay
It was very peaceful and quiet. Somewhat remote but was what we like. It is close to the Foothills Parkway West though. Beautiful drive. Has full kitchen and plenty of room.
This was a very roomy, comfortable home. But it did need a few things. The kitchen needed more cooking pans. The whole house needs painted on the inside.Other than that, we had a wonderful visit. It was very pet friendly and kid friendly.

it was clean it was pretty cool, the only couple things i would say is that you are pretty remote which for an average joe might be a little redundant with everything 45-1.5 minutes away but honestly a pretty good getaway if you’re into that. but overall it’s decent
A bunch of outlets didn’t work but the owner let us know. The water smells like sulfur so the owner provided drinking water. But overall we loved it and it was such a nice place to stay.
This is a quite place with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. There were supplies in the pantry and all kitchenware was there as well. Very cozy and quite. The A/C kept us warm. We used the fireplace inside and it was very nice. The Wifi is a slow as it is expected in such area. There is no cell service in this area as well.
We will definitely stay here again.
Thank you Dawn and Oliver.
Property was clean, Beautiful Area, As far as house, it was fine except for the tubs downstairs were very slick. Husband almost fell in tub next to kids room. My son took the other master bath and did slip and fell trying to get out of that tub.
Thank god he did not get hurt. So I suggest putting bath mats in those to bathrooms for showers. Other than that all was well, except water in sinks did have a bad smell. But owners supplied fresh water tank with extra bottle for drinking. We used what was left in one and replaced it with the last bottle and used over half of it. Loved sitting on the porch and enjoyed the fireplace. We all played games around the kitchen table at night and had a wonderful time.

Thank you the review. We will order some bath mats for the tubs, great idea. The water out of the facets is connected to the well so the bad smell you noticed.
Glad you had a great and relaxing visit.

location and eye appeal
First let me say the owners are very nice and seem to love their home. That's great. It was well stocked and clean. But it was our 28th wedding anniversary and we wanted a mountain view and hopefully a few bears to visit. This property is in the valley and has absolutely NO view that is desirable to look at. It also needs TLC. They have a handicapped ramp which is great but the boards had rotted out and they just threw plywood over it with a piece of roofing tile. Their yard desperately needs mowed and trimmed and landscaped. The port a potty in the yard was interesting.
We were told to put trash in a trailer. There wasn't a trailer so we brought the trash home with us. When I see a view of a mountain I assume that means a cabin with a view. I now know I need to look through doors in pictures to make sure what I expect for the price is what I get. All of that outweighed the positives. I know these owners love their home but it definitely isn't a vacation home unless all you want is a clean room to sleep and the rest of your trip is spent elsewhere.
We camme here to ride motorcycles in the mountains. We absolutely loved this place and did not want to leave. Dawn and Oliver were very helpfull with directions and information about their rental. Thank you very much and we will definitely try to stay there again.

Memorial day getaway!
My family enjoyed our stay in this beautiful location. It was quiet and peaceful, perfect to stay disconnected from the hustle bustle of everyday life. The kitchen is really well stocked and it is a delight to have meals in the dining area.
A bit more attention is needed with the upkeep of furniture in the sun room as these are very dusty and there were some stains. Also, the bedrooms had lot of dust on the covers, which could trigger allergies.
Overall, I would recommend this place for families who want to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of their surroundings.

Thank you for the review, we are glad you enjoyed the house and some quiet time. Sorry to hear about the dust, the county did recent road repaving therefore it really stirred up the dirt and dust in the area. We did ensure our cleaning staff was aware of your comment so they could address your concern.
We hope to see you again soon
