Great house!

The house is in a great location for visiting Monument! We had one adult in a wheelchair and he was able to fit through the doorways of the older home. Shower was small but he was able to use it with shower chair modifications. Backyard was great for running the dogs. A great little house.

Just what we needed!

This little house is perfect. It has been carefully updated to provide everything needed (great shower & kitchen sink, good kitchen appliances, blazing fast Wi-Fi, good windows & doors) without losing the charm of the original home. It is bright, cheerful, airy, and meticulously clean. The beds & linens are great. We didn’t want to leave!

Awesome place to stay in monument

We looked desperately for a place close by to family in monument and this place was so perfect!!!!! After a long road trip it was nice to have a “house” for a few nights. Only downside is the house is literally right downtown so it’s not private at all, had a few times were people would park in the driveway probably not realizing someone was in the house and it was pretty loud all day and night… made napping with a toddler a little rough! Overall house was clean, smelt strongly of urine but I think it could just be the age of the property. Place was inviting and I would recommend over a hotel any day!

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

This was a wonderful property in a gorgeous location. We stayed for the weekend while we attended a wedding around the corner at the Hearth House. It was extremely clean, the beds were wonderful, and it was just a block from all the cute shops and restaurants downtown. I would highly recommend this listing to anyone!!

Monument to Alamosa, CO vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin-like home! Location was perfect, just around the corner from historic downtown with multiple restaurant options and a farmer’s market on the weekends. It was a perfect launching point to access the Santa Fe Trail and everything C Springs has to offer. Additionally, when staying at someone else’s house communication is key, and Maxx was very responsive to any questions we had!

Would stay again

Great little house. Good location. Clean and comfortable. I would say it only sleeps 4, maybe 5. There are two Queen beds and a couch, but the couch is not a pull out bed so it’s a bit small for sleeping on.

Wonderful week in Monument

A very interesting little house that once functioned as an art gallery. Ideal for couples or small families or small groups of friends. The third bed is a sofa in the living room, which was the only significant negative about the property for our family of four (and was something I knew when renting it so the inconvenience was entirely my responsibility and no fault of the owner). Still, the location made the slight inconvenience worthwhile. Monument is a delightful small town close to the mountains and we enjoyed our week there very much. The house is right next to a pizza restaurant and there are multiple other restaurants within walking distance. The owner is very courteous and helpful. We thoroughly recommend this property.

Great location and perfect for our family!

We loved this little house and it was perfect for us and our two teenage daughters! The neighborhood was lovely with several places close by to eat and shop. The house was clean and tidy with plenty of extra bedding and everything else we needed. The patio was a great place to relax and enjoy the mornings and evenings. We left the windows open at night to keep it cool and even with the location right next to a restaurant and a train track a couple blocks away, it was so quiet and just perfect. The hosts were very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. They also made several great recommendations that we loved. We would highly recommend it and would stay again if we ever come back this way and it’s available.

Monument home

The moment we walked in to this little house i could tell the owners took great care and consideration for all our needs. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable seating outdoors. The beds were very soft. There was no AC but the fans helped. In Colorado it’s pretty standard for homes not to have AC. Maxx was great and very responsive. They also left welcome gifts! Would definitely stay there again

Cozy Cabin with a Beautiful View

This is a wonderfully cozy cabin that served our family of 4 well. It's nestled in a quaint little town with unique shops and restaurants and a beautiful view of the mountains. We were close to a grocery store and had an easy drive to the many attractions in Colorado Springs. The cabin is stocked with amenities too! Communication with the owners was impeccable -- they were friendly, helpful and responded immediately when we reached out, both before and during our stay. Highly recommend!!!!

Our family remodeled this little bungalow as a project. Our son Maxx is a recent college graduate 2020, and now has joined us in business. We decided this would be a very adorable property to rent as a vacation rental. Our second son Jack is already helping us in our business, as he just graduated in 2022., both from CU Boulder! This has been a great experience for our family owned business. (Kirt, Vicki, Maxx, and Jack ) We all work very hard and well together. We hope to make your stay very nice.

Why they chose this property

Its filled with love and lots of hard work, so its very special to our entire family. We had so much fun picking out the art, dishes, silverware, and the furnishing. We feel it turned out very nice, so we ask that our guests have fun, but respect that this is our families little gem. Take care of it please!! We are glad we can share with our guests.

What makes this property unique

Walking distance, to so many places. Great location, between Colorado Springs, and Denver. LOCATION, LOCATION! Very special little house, unique and charming
