This beautiful terraced house has a wonderful overgrown garden. There you will find the pool and on hot summer days also a shady spot for outdoor dining. Another private garden is located on the river bank, you can reach it by crossing the path. It is perfectly placed with a small house and deck chairs.
A short walk will take you to historic Terrasson-Lavilledieu. Thursdays is market day. On the first floor is the garage, on the second floor are the living room and kitchen. The bedrooms and bathrooms are on the second floor. Partly English TV channels.

Charming house with loads of original art deco features and character. Located right in the town so easy to walk to super market, cafes and shops as well as the brilliant Imaginare Gardens just behind the house. The garden as in the description is wonderful with loads of birds busy doing there thing, butterflies, bees and beetles. We even spotted a glow worm one evening!
The property is situated close to the river & within walking distance of the town & large supermarket. Old town ramparts, shops, cafes & restaurants are delightful but it’s very hilly. About 1hr 20mins from Bergerac airport.
The garden is lovely & established, the pool is excellent, very clean & extensively used by us. There are only 8 sun loungers & space around the pool is limited. Some flagstones are loose on the steps leading up to the pool. The pool is fenced & gated. A BBQ is available.
House is very historic & beautiful architecture especially in the sitting / dining room but it could do with fresh paint / deep clean throughout. Sofa seats are worn / torn and many of the light bulbs were not working. Has a large TV, DVD & satellite box.
The property boasts a number of showers but the top floor bedroom had little or no hot water at any time due to lack of water pressure & the shower in the Jack & Jill bathroom is a hand held shower attachment on the bath with no screens or curtains to allow the shower to be used fully. The lack of water pressure made it impossible for the bath to be filled.
Wi-Fi coverage is lacking at the top of the house & falls short of the pool area so be prepared to use your data allowance. The kitchen is functional - oven, dishwasher, microwave & double sink. Large fridge & freezer plus a wine fridge.
We were a large family group & had a great time. Kayaking is a must.

point positif: proximité centre vile et disposition intérieure.Point négatif: le portail d'entrée ne ferme pas il est tenu avec un tendeur lui aussi HS. Le plafonnier de la grande chambre ne fonctionne pas. Les 2 canapés sont déchirés et dans un état de crasse inqualifiable. Le frigo ne fonctionne pas la température n'est jamais descendu en dessous de 13 degrés durant notre séjour et son joint déchiré et moisi le congélateur est un freezeur. pas d'éclairage pour manger à table dehors nous l'avons acheté. La piscine n'est pas protégé Aucun entretien durant 11 jours piscine verte à notre arrivée et cela à tourné au marécage le pisciniste est venue 11 jours après notre arrivée nous avions arrété de nous baignier depuis 5 jours plus de chlore le bouquet lorsque nous avons découvert autour de la piscine des tiges en fer qui ont été coupé et qui coupaient comme des rasoirs car celles-ci dépassaient de 5 millimètres enfin une catastrophe. Le barbecue est brasero complètement pourri le réceptacle qui contient la charbon est complètement troué.Il est tout simplement inaceptable de loué cette maison à un tarif qui frole les 7700,00 euros pour 15 jours dans cette état. Le comble le propriétaire pour la même période pour 2026 est passé à 8500,00 euros une honte.Je déconseille cette maison à la location elle ne devrait même plus faire parti du catalogue Abritel.J'aimerai un jour que les propriétaire arrête de prendre les vacanciers pour des numéro de carte bancaire.
