Cottage in the countryside, with a private swimming pool of 9m x 4m covered and heated with security gate. Located in the heart of the Périgord Noir, the location is an ideal starting point for visiting the region
This large gite is made up of 5 bedrooms with private bathroom and TV: 2 bedrooms with 1 double bed and 1 single bed each accessible from the lounge area, 3 bedrooms (2 with 1 double bed and 1 with 1 bed 140 and 1 bed of 90) accessible by another adjoining entrance.
All bedrooms are air conditioned as well as the living and dining area.
Fully equipped kitchen (electric hob, oven, microwave, American fridge, dishwasher, washing machine). FREE WIFI .
Close to our farm inn.

Enclosed park with garden furniture and private barbecue.
Holiday checks accepted.

Saint Genies at 2km, authentic village of Périgord Noir, famous for its stones and its roofs in Lauze, market on Sunday morning all the year. All shops ..
- in the South: medieval city of Sarlat at 10 km and Dordogne Valley (Castelnaud castle at 25km and Beynac castle at 23 km, etc ...)
- North: Caves of Lascaux at 12km
- to the West: Les Eyzies, capital of prehistory at 25km

Wonderful

The property was just as it was described. The rooms were all en-suite and there was an extra toilet we hadn't expected. The kitchen was well resourced with everything we needed. The barbecue was fantastic and we used it each day. There was so much space and it felt like home.

Beautiful, very clean, very comfortable and well appointed and quiet Gite. We had a wonderful stay there. Would highly recommend it! Just a few minor things to note for future guests: As 2 families, we stayed as one family in the adjoining rooms with the other family in the annex which was ideal to give us some space from each other but of an evening, the children in the annex were a bit anxious to be where they couldn't be heard and to have to cross the courtyard in the dark if they needed us.It would have been helpful to know that cash was required for sheets and cleaning at the end of our stay. We were expecting card payment or bank transfer so a dash to St Genies and a quicker departure would have been possible if we had been forewarned. As a small suggestion, a lamp in the lounge area would be a nice, addition as the ceiling lights are too bright to make it cosy.

Super séjour, la maison est très confortable et très agréable, il y a tout ce qu'il faut, la piscine et la climatisation nous ont permis de bien affronter la canicule (42c !!!). L'emplacement est idéal, au calme et proche de Sarlat et des différents points d'intérêts de la région.Merci aux propriétaires (et à leur fils) de leur réactivité suite à une demande de notre part pendant le séjour.Je recommande vivement !

Très belle et grande maison au cœur du Périgord noir

Séjour de 8 adultes au mois de septembre : La maison est propre, spacieuse, confortable, située dans la campagne Périgourdine donc très calme. C'est un très bon point de départ pour rayonner dans la région. Le fait que chaque chambre soit équipée de sa salle de bains/toilettes est un véritable plus. La salle de vie est grande, et la cuisine très bien équipée. L'espace extérieur est vaste, agréable, et la piscine chauffée un régal ! (nous nous sommes baignés même avec des températures peu élevées). La communication avec Nicole et Jean Marie a été simple et plaisante. Vraiment un très bon séjour et un excellent rapport qualité-prix.

Réunion d’une famille venant de France, de Belgique et d’Espagne, nous avions convenu de nous rendre en Dordogne pour la qualité de vie, des visites à effectuer et de la gastronomie. Vacances familiales à la découverte du Périgord

Bien accueillis par l'hôte nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Gîte très bien équipé et très confortable avec de beaux espaces de vie fort appréciés lorsque l'on se retrouve à 11. Après des journées bien remplies par les visites de grottes, châteaux, jardins ... la superbe piscine chauffée a été particulièrement appréciée par nos cinq petits-enfants qui ont pu s'y éclater et a permis de très vite effacer leur frustration de ne pas avoir été à la mer cette année.

Un très bon séjour

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. La villa est spacieuse et chacun a son petit espace. La piscine est très agréable ainsi que les espaces extérieurs. Globalement bien équipée. L’accueil a été trop rapide sans trop d’explications. Les environs sont riches en activité. Un havre de paix pour se ressourcer. Nous recommandons vivement.

Gîte spacieux, commode et bien situé

Très beau gîte, on peut aisément venir à plusieurs tout en gardant son intimité. La piscine est très belle. Toutes les chambres sont accompagnées d'une salle de bain. Une situation idéale au sein du Périgord noir. Merci à Mme Verlhiac pour son accueil.
