Large attractive studio, windows with great winter views, firm queen-sized bed, well-equipped with desk, large kitchen table, wardrobe. Bathtub/shower in large bathroom, kitchenette and small deck. Great winter getaway. Quiet place to work on a writing project. Special winter rates available for artist/writer retreat during February and March. Owners live on upper floor and are available with tips and suggestions. The quiet street surrounded by trees is a 10 minute walk to Good Harbor Beach. Downtown Gloucester is 1/2m. to 1 m walk with its shops, restaurants, museums, whale watch, boat cruises, fishing charters, and other attractions. Designated parking spaces.

This place was so cozy and quaint! My husband and I had the best anniversary trip and would highly recommend staying here! The location was great and the recommendations were amazing! We will definitely be back!

Weekend getaway

My family enjoyed our 3 night stay. The room was clean and the property manager(owners) were very pleasant to work with. They worked very quickly to fix an issue we had with being locked out of the place. Quiet little area and seemed very safe to stay with a family.

Wedding weekend

We came into Gloucester for the weekend to celebrate our friend’s wedding. We absolutely loved this studio. It was spacious and cozy for two! It was very centrally located too!

I am a visual artist and my husband Don is a writer. We have been in love with Cape Ann for decades and moved here from the Boston area. It has been fun preparing and decorating our guest space. We have already met a variety of great guests, some of whom are visiting family, others are here simply to relax and get away, and others to get to know this historic and beautiful area.
