Our home's heart, a recently updated kitchen, features quartz countertops, modern cabinets, and appliances no more than three years old. The inviting space is perfected with stylish pendants and swivel upholstered stools, creating an ambiance that's both elegant and welcoming. Fresh paint graces the living, dining, and kitchen areas, complementing the new king-sized bed in the master bedroom, now refreshed with wood flooring and a serene color palette.

This spacious, four-bedroom, three-bathroom residence boasts a heated pool* and a luxurious hot tub, complete with 37 jets and LED lighting, promising an idyllic escape. The one-level layout ensures easy accessibility and includes two master suites, two guest rooms, and a shared bath, all featuring contemporary wood floors. Updated vanities and lighting enhance the hall and queen suite bathrooms, adding a touch of sophistication.

The expansive living room, equipped with a 46-inch widescreen HDTV, merges seamlessly with the dining area and newly fitted kitchen. Our commitment to excellence is evident in the continuous deep cleaning, fresh paint, and installation of classy shutters and custom Roman shades that adorn our windows.

Outside, the private backyard offers an expansive deck surrounding the pool and hot tub, an elevated flagstone patio ideal for grilling (featuring a new Weber propane grill), and a delightful sitting area adorned with rattan furniture and vibrant red cushions – a perfect spot to relax under the new umbrella on warm days.

Freshly painted in a soothing blue with crisp white shutters and complemented by new landscaping, the exterior of our home invites you to explore the local offerings. Accommodating up to eight guests with one king, two queens, and two twin beds, our home is ideal for family gatherings or group vacations. Additional amenities include a baby crib, highchair, booster, and play pack.

The Mallard property was perfect for our group of 4, needing 3 separate bdrms. The kitchen is well stocked and the large patio has ample seating to enjoy the pool, hot tub or a beverage. New washer/dryer was appreciated and it’s a short, easy 1.5-ish block walk to the beach. The house is well cared for and well loved due to its age and the salty, humid environment but just adds to the HH charm.

Beautiful backyard with a short easy walk to the beach. Hot tub was lovely during November and pool heated such that the kids swam. Well stocked kitchen and I really liked that there was an extra fridge in the side room with washer/dryer. One thing to note is the chairs for the beach are what we consider "bag chairs" not true beach chairs. We had a wonderful time and absolutely would stay again!

Private location - with an excellent pool. The beach walk was short with a beautiful sandy and uncrowded beach in front of the walk through. The chairs and wagon came in handy for us! I loved the convenience of coligny plaza as it was a short bike ride or walk for everything we could need.

Lovely back yard with multiple seating areas, pool, and hot tub, and umbrellas for shade. The kitchen is nicely equipped (we like to cook) with pans for stovetop and oven baking. Plenty of room in bedrooms for our group. Nearby grocery stores and restaurants are within walking distance.

Great backyard and location!

We had a great stay in Hilton Head. The house was very clean when we arrived, and the backyard and location can’t be beat. Just a short walk to the beach and into town for dinner and drinks! We are "nomads" who have lived all over the country.....before having 2 kids and afterwards; able to travel all summer now and come "home" to Hilton Head Island. Met the best and neatest folks we've ever had a chance to meet here on Hilton Head so we feel very blessed. Although we live here "part-time" we consider this our home and glad the folks we have rented to over the years have taken such good care of it during their visits.

Why they chose this property

Only 2 blocks from ocean, but in a laid-back, friendly neighborhood; large backyard. We started with a "lovely" swamp of a backyard, but quickly got to work to create a true oasis for us and guests! with good sized pool (can be heated); standalone 37-jet hot tub; and lots of different sitting/dining/tanning areas for all guests along with grill.
