Serene, private and beautiful location!

This is a bright and airy home at the foothills of the Berkshires in Sharon, CT. There is plenty of room to stretch out with an open floor plan and four bedrooms on the second level. Many large windows connect you to the endless mountain views from almost every room and fill the house with sun.

The well-equipped kitchen with an induction stove is ready for anything you decide to whip up. A large deck comes with a gas Weber grill, 8 person table and multiple seating areas and most importantly, a stunning view of the Housatonic Mountains. The outdoor fire pit is ready in the yard for nighttime s’mores. Hammock and swinging chairs for lazy shade time.

The home is perfectly situated close to all the fun northwest CT has to offer. Great shopping and superb restaurants are close in every direction in Kent (CT), Millerton (NY) Salisbury (CT), Great Barrington (MA) and more.

Winter offers guests plenty of skiing options, with the closest mountain 10 minutes away. Tubing, incredible restaurants, cozy cafes and snow-covered hills in every direction will make your stay the perfect winter retreat.

Summer activities include: swimming at nearby Mudge Pond (8 minute drive and staffed with lifeguards and free access with rental), tubing/rafting on the Housatonic River, fishing, endless beautiful hikes, boating (rentals available) on Twin Lakes, bird watching at two nearby Audubon Societies, antiquing, excellent outdoor dining, rail trail for biking, farm visits, wineries, berry picking, Tanglewood outdoor concerts (about 30 min in MA), and more!

Just two-hours from NYC by car. Wassaic Metro North train station is 25 minutes away.
