Tara Cove Cottage

We’re committed to following cleanliness guidelines for our guests. We were dedicated to providing a clean experience before Covid 19 ( see past reviews over the years) and now have enhanced protocols. We are hands-on owners and inspect before our new guests arrive to ensure cleanliness.

Location, location, location! Imagine hearing the waves crashing and walking with your favorite beverage to sit and watch the waves roll in off the Marginal Way. Tucked around the corner on a private road but literally steps to Perkins Cove and The Marginal Way. Walk to the beach or jump on the trolley which is 75 steps away from your front door. This two-bedroom, two full-bath home has updated bathrooms, an updated kitchen, the furniture you want to curl up on, stainless steel appliances, a new front load washer & dryer, and more. Linens, towels, beach towels, 4 beach chairs with umbrella, air conditioning, dishwasher, and gas grill. Just buy the lobster down the street.

Beautiful property that is so cute and comfortable! Loved being able to walk to Perkins Cove, especially at night. Such a convenient location and would definitely stay there again!P.S. the shower water pressure alone, I want to go back! :o)

Such a great house in a central location, a quick walk to Perkin's Cove and under 20 minutes you can be at Ogunquit Beach or catch the trolly right outside the house! Super clean, and owner had great communication! Highly recommend staying here!

Love the location of this rental! Walkable to everything you'd want to do in the area. The cottage's decor was super cute with a beach theme. However, I would have liked if the property grounds felt more open and airy but that is nothing again the owner. She was absolutely wonderful!

Excellent location, just a 5 minute walk to Perkins Cove and the Marginal Way. Ample parking for 3 cars. Two bedrooms were well separated, one had bathroom, other used central shared bathroom. Kitchen was tight for more than one person, but included most everything you’d need. We grilled out on the deck for a few meals. Bring your own foil or grill mat, although the grill looked brand new and had a spare tank. Favorite part of trip was morning coffee on the deck, reading and listening to the birds and seeing the occasional deer feeding in the field behind the cottage. A couple issues came up during our stay - LED light over the sink started blinking, and window AC unit seemed to have mold or something that was bothering our allergies. Both issues were taken care of quickly. Other notes: the lower rack in the dishwasher was difficult to pull out. There was a coffee maker, but no coffee or filters - bring the “Mr Coffee” basket style. There were a few Kuerig pods, but no Kuerig. The key lock box was a little hard to spot - it’s mounted on the left railing tucked behind the overgrown bushes. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
