Our family had a ball staying here. The house is in great condition and located near so many great places to visit. Plenty of room for a family with teenagers and our dog.
Check out the Bubbling Springs trail about 25 minutes away. It’s in a wildlife management area and is absolutely gorgeous. Spend the day in the water there and if you’re a plant nerd like me you will have the best day ever. It is also home to Rock Creek with its population of smallmouth bass!
Our host was super responsive and answered all our questions. This is the kind of place that makes me so happy to be in the Ozarks.
Also, visit out the taco truck in Hardy for a yummy lunch.
Adorable house in a perfect location for guys to fish while girls hung out. It was easy to access and had everything we needed. Living area was comfy. Kitchen and dining area were great for preparing lunches and snacks. Outdoor seating was fun in the evenings. Beds were comfy. It was exactly what we needed!
This house feels like a home. From the bedding to the art on the walls to the fully functional kitchen to the wonderful outdoor spaces to the cleanliness, the place was a hit with our crew. We were able to walk to the low water bridge for fishing. After our canoe trip, we simply walked back "home" rather than drive back to the outfitter (one of our people took the shorter trip down the river and was able to retrieve our vehicle). We enjoyed going into the little town of Hardy and long walks on the gravel roads. The owners were quick to respond to our questions. If you want a private place to relax and feel at home, this is the perfect spot.
Beautiful home and setting. Owners have a new huge screened in gazebo and propane fireplace. We lacked for nothing while we were there over a month. Kyle and Ginger and gracious and helpful hosts. Highly recommend this place. Very convenient to outfitters and steakhouse. You'll love it!
We stayed here approximately 2 months November to December and it was an outstanding visit. We loved the cabin, the area and such. It was a very peaceful visit for me, husband and three kids. The cabin has a nice fenced in area for pets that was very handy and location was nice. We are looking forward to returning this summer so we can float down the Spring River! The Main Street in Hardy is really great. There’s a Walmart in Ash Flat that has curbside pickup about 15 mins away. Just watch your speed in Ash Flat and Highlands. If you come up in a Tesla, you can charge the car at the local RV Park and walk to Main Street and shop. Bills Cash Saver grocery store is also in town and well stocked. The Cabin is a great place with very good internet as well. We especially loved seeing deer in the front yard.
Wonderful short stay and long stay cabin close to River!
We stayed at this cabin for over two months and it was really an enjoyable visit! It was well stocked and internet was very reliable even with 5 of us using it. We enjoyed seeing deer in the evenings and the kids loved the large front yard to play in. There is also a great fenced in side yard for your dog for convenience! Beds were comfy and kitchen had many excellent appliances we were glad they had. Our hosts were great and easy to communicate with. The front porch was also a lovely addition to our stay. We are looking forward to returning in the summer so that we can float down the Spring River. The River isn’t that far down the road! There’s also an excellent place at the top of Bluff Rd to watch sunsets!
My two sisters and I try to find a nice getaway once a year. I ran across this beautiful home on VRBO!! We have stayed at Biggers BB in the past and wanted to try something different. We were very pleasantly surprised as soon as we open the back door. It was just like walking into our own home. The outdoor spaces were just as lovely as the indoor ones. The property was super clean and we enjoyed our stay so much! We spent two days on Spring River and felt right at home. We will certainly be back in the future. I highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking to have a home away from home.
This was our first time doing a VRBO. Was looking for a quiet place to unplug and simple do family together, enjoy each other, eat together, play together and cleanup up together. We were surprised at the existing food, food preparations onsite and figured out there was some community in sharing and then leave some behind for the next visitors. We appreciated the Property owners flexibility re our dog sizes, too. We had a great visit!
Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood, very peaceful sitting out on the front porch every morning. It was perfect for my sister who walks with crutches that she could use the ramp into the home and had a bedroom and bath on main level. We could have used a little more space to unpack our clothing and room for food in the pantry as a lot of personal belongings were still in the home and a lot of food was already there that we were not sure was of use to the guests but other than that, it was a lovely home and enjoyed our stay.
